People and lies aren't hard to find
People with love, there just aren't enough
In this world, I've never said a word
That should bring, you a sting
To your aching heart

Never once yet, have you listened
We are over, no time to shower
My depression, and the confessions
I've been keeping inside
Are breaking my heart

So I take a break
I make the quake
The earth rumbles and rumbles
While I wave
I laugh at your face
You heard my name
You called it out loud
Yesterday
The tides are moving out
And I am gonna crouch
And kneel and bow my head
The house is turning
My head is spinning
What should I do about this?

When people acquaint themselves
They make it seem innocent
When people try to make you cry
You begin to realise, the true sense

Though I would stand here
And the people would stare
You and I would forever be
Always complete

Years would go by
And I'd listen
To records you'd play all the time
People wonder why
I seem to try
To remember your beautiful smile

And I guess they were right
Putting up a fight
Just so me and you
Won't find the truth
They've hidden away

They were just jealous
They tried to clean up the mess
Yet now it's hopeless
To reconcile
A honest love
That has been sworn to never exist

The lies are your undoing
My heart is just crumbling
The earth is just shaking
The tides are moving
And all I'll do
Is be waiting
For you...
I know my heart is good
even if my mind is twisted
Which is why I've stood
in this awkward position
I feel like the moon
in the daytime sky
a sight to question why
it belongs to the night
Our world was built to control us impeding our ability to thrive,
induced into a system designed for wealth, power, and lies.
Most of us end up broken enslaved for what little we have,
the enemy divides our family as we follow another false flag.
A price is paid for not conceding to an affirmation worth repeating,
as our minds are all but defeated our souls are lost in a hidden war.
History repeats itself as we are kept under control,
when we accept defeat, we allow the enemy to grow.
I was a victim just like you as degenerates overtook my home,
life in the wake of calamity, cast on a pile of innocent bones.
I am not the one you want to convene because I question everything,
I am just a voice of honesty who was finally set free.
Who finally broke through the construct of lies,
the lies we were taught to believe in the construct of humanity.

Love envelops my languid soul
I lounge in its warm embrace
A content poet is a dry inkwell
Yet the ink is congealed with satisfaction
I refuse to allow joy to slow my quill
Too many poets quest for love through language
Many drown in the bliss of El Dorado
Lost forever, bathing in golden love
I will drink golden cups of passion
Play in priceless fieds of frienship
But I will pause to respect it's fragility
And to be a beacon for those lost in windless seas
For I once wore the albatross around my neck
My thirst is now quenched in golden oceans
I wish to be a gentle wind in the sails of the castaways
For love envelops my languid soul
And so it can and must for all
I just want to say that the love I receive from you, my friends on HP is a large part of my El Dorado.

Maybe one day

everyone here-
torn
happy
broken
worried
thinking
thoughtless
angry
emotional-

can get together

we bonded through the internet and the technology

but perhaps one day

we can be more than the poem we liked
a picture on the profile
or a compliment we gave

maybe one day
we can see each other face to face
and become a bit more than a mere stranger
because a poem says more than we can ever say to anyone else
it reveals your inner soul
because each comment has a thought of its own

there has to be some stigma that brought you here
depression
anorexia
loneliness
sadness
felicity

the truth is I don't know your story
but I promise I will tell you mine
when you tell me yours.
Love,

D is for dinosaur who walks in the rain
C is for canary. she'll never be the same
E is for eskimo

F is for functional - she feels quite insane
G is for girlfriend who is never to blame
B is for backboard I should have never came

M is for meeting he couldn't postpone
L is for license, or rent to own
P is for pretty

All of your Alphabet stepped out of line
couldn't arrange them, there just wasn't time
instead they're all jumbled- but it's gonna be fine
oh oh oh

So if you're spelling with plenty of vowels
means the wind's still blowing in, something's afoul
you're late to the blackboard, best just throw in the towel

School's almost over, this isn't a start
we've all got you, this won't stop your heart
Fall back and trust me, you won't come apart.

XY and W just weren't the same
after they learned that Q had stolen her name
the rest of the letters just did not care
That's why we're ending- so I'll just stop you there.

AN: not actually a poem, but a song that's still in the early stages. not really my usual style. I generally feel uneasy rhyming but it flows well when sung.
