Blessed are those
who spend money
on things
we have been dipped
into the holy cash
streams
of money worship
like fallen gods from glory
love disguised in the
sanctimony of commerce
And never buy mediocrity
from middle men
or those claiming they are
the masters of your soul
who will just
empty your pockets
avoid them as if
they are frauds
of the spirit
who may send
you to hell

They conjure up
Numbers from
the sacred air like
alpha shamans always do
saging poetics and
placing their hands
on the mouse of
your spine
just a page away
from nirvana
they say it would heal you
the old incantations
of an ancient
magic speaking to you
in tongues with clicks
layered in keyboard divination
they are here to say
you can illuminate
the world with love
laughing with your bellies

We are unsung but
natural born
free formed like
Marley does dreads
all in your head
like we be the toast
of humanity
out from calamity
a designed order
from chaos
the dark
matter
that matters
the sentient beings
with celestial wings
bringing galaxies
as cosmic bound
earthlings
we define we
Being black

This is not another
poem about wild
uncouth women
and their wiles
those plethora of ways to
grab men's attention

This is about brutality
how he speaks to her in flesh
men with brutal words
speak with brutal tongues
Hit with brutal hands
as if that would make her
more available

as if women were
all gold grabbers
but
kindness never
crosses his mind

she is the pretty prize
he is the lip licking
fangs *****
with nothing to do
but ravage
her naivete...

I saw armies of women
ripping fetuses out from
their unprotected wombs
Then judges of men
Burning them to a cross
On newly
manicured lawns
Nothing to see here
But an eye for a busted eye
And coal dark skin
made a crime
Your unleavened bread will
not save you
Perhaps covens of nature
loving witches will…

Lazy days are for
laying in the Sun
Belly up
dream gazing
fishing the sky
for portraits
the clouds
become divination
tools for sages
We are seers
of this crystal ball world
passing by
billowy in summer skies
Why you lament that you are alone

Stars in the sky are alone,

yet they twinkle with love.

Sun and Moon are alone,

Yet they have not

stopped giving light to us.

Live alone.

Love people from a distance.

Nearness to humans lead to

Propinquity and propinquity

in turn leads to conflict.

Your mind will then again long for

loneliness!
