When my life came to a shattering stop.
I hung onto the edge of the cliff with one hand.
And I waited for someone to help me,
But when I saw no rope or hand there to help me.
I realized maybe no one wants or cares about me,
Because I don't want or care about me,
And maybe that's how the healing process starts.
It starts with me.
Sometimes you need to be your own shoulder to cry on,
Wipe your own tears,
Those times will feel lonely,
But it will teach you how to stand back up when no one is there to help
