This is a nuclear world
I walk by fields along a paved road
I don't smell the flowers or the grass
Fire and ash is all that fills my nose
Pavement burns the bottom of my feet
I walk along the dirt and grass that litters the side
Where is the clean crisp air?
Why does this field smell like a burnt husk?
Maybe it knows, the trees no longer dance
The grass and trees, flowers no longer sway in the breeze,
They know that their time is short
Soon they will be plowed over and filled in
Human will char the beautiful Earth

There will be nothing left but
Fire and Ash
the smell of nothing left

Loving you used to be fun
But somewhere while riding in the truck we crossed the dotted line
Loving you used to feel like rays of sun
But now I feel cold and undone
Loving you is not the same
But I want nothing to change
Loving you is pain and heart ache,
Loving you
I cannot do
I want to go back to the way it was but there is no going back,
No way to undo the things that were done.

Im having some writers block,
Like a killer I must stalk out my words.
Smash them together till they finally cave,
And form the Senteces I so dearly want.

The road is red, cracked and crumbling
The sun is held by grey and gold clouds
Unparked cars run out of time
A few turn over but many more just
Tick tick tick
Onward down a less congested highway
The city towers high ahead
A city of lights!
Reduced to a city of starry nights
Travel the road of twisted trees
Come upon a families memories
Lush green grass with plenty of room
A house of past doom
Inside it's perfectly preserved never to be disturbed

In a different time
A child swings outside
While mother idly cooks
Her belly a small bump
But that's only what may have been

I see only a sad house with a nursery
Perfectly left unused
Whoever is left hide in secrecy
Afraid of a world they created

We each have a garden full of what makes up our lives
Yours may be daisies and evergreens or anything that happens between
Mine is full of color and ever blooming
Roses here and there
Lupins grow high where humming birds zip and zap all around never making a sound
A morning glory or two will bloom before noon
Trees full of song birds soar up high
Providing everlasting shade
Endless fields full of wildflowers too many to name
They fill the air with sweater scents
This is my garden I could wonder for hours and hours to tend the Many plants and animals that live
Lay in the grass let the sun warm my face and then walk beneath the trees to the spring pools
Walk in and let the water swallow my skin

But these are Chemical Gardens,
We tend them in moods.
One day I watch my beautiful roses wilt, each petal falls to the ground
The next leaves fall from the trees and grass grows brown
The sun no longer warms my face instead it hides in the clouds
Weeks pass and I can't coax the color to life, it's just stale air and grey clouds
In times passing my garden my bloom,
the sun will peek from the clouds and smells return to the air the pools of water wont be so dark
This is my Chemical Garden

Hmm...*
Life seems to be treading water, but going nowhere
My luck is dying on the shelf and I can no longer hang on
I suppose it has finally run out and all I have is hope
But that is diminishing quickly as well

My lucky bamboo dies on the shelf
Maybe my luck really is running out
I feel defeated

A bold Eagle flies low
skims the earth with a glance.
Wonders how all seems to glow
why is life only a show?

The older eagles fly up high,
kowing the terrors of life below.
Once you've turned yourself over to the ground
your wings are clipped.
No one will hear a sound,
part of the show you will be.

Never to fly again,
with remorse those below look up.
The Bold eagle swoops lower and lower,
closer and closer...
A bird feeder excerpt number one, now I need to write the rest...
