Huh,
Suddenly I think someone does care,
Huh,
They’re looking not just to stare,
Huh,
They actually notice me there,
Huh,
Are they actually admiring me?

Huh,
wow.
I never noticed the many
little beauties all around,
waiting patiently to be found.
Huh, I never noticed that flower in the drain,
resilient despite the rain.

Huh, life isn’t so bad is it?
Life is good guys ~
even after a heavy thunderstorm the many flowers still survive,
And even the damaged ones can keep growing, the sun still shines, and life goes on. Emotions DONT last forever, even at your lowest, you need to believe things will get better, but that’s only if you choose for it to.
Never turned
into "one day."

No one became
someone.

"Maybe" faded,
transforming
into reality.

"Never" never ceased to be,
it became
a possibility.

And "none"
vanished into the air
when the right one arrived.
My heart often sings for you,
The eternal song of love.
If it ever touches your heart,
Come to me.
I will be waiting,
For all eternity.

I always liked you,
and threw hints at you

I showed you my love,
Expressed it

I wrote you poems,
And poems of love

I gifted you things
Things of love

But you had a problem
You were oblivious

Dot
In a million different people
Disappears a dot.
One second im alive,
The other i'm not.
not feeling too good rn
Love is gazing
Not at someone
But into them
Marveling at
The colors
Of their soul.

Love is patient
It understands
Why it waits
Or rather,
Who it is
Waiting for.

Love is heaven
It conquers all
Even mortality
Meaning that
The truest lovers
Shall never part.

They will find each other.
In a heaven so picturesque
It might as well be made
With the ethereal colors
That each one knows
Within the other's eyes.
I've always hated the line, "Till Death do us part."
My lover and I will say a different line when we get married.
Life can be tough.
That’s just how it goes.
Sometimes it’s enough
to drag you through lows.

Sometimes all you know
is pain and its sting.
Sometimes life will throw
just about anything.

It’s all for your good.
But it won’t seem that way.
It’s all understood
as a plan rotten day.

Looking back you will see
the gem hell will give.
But for now it will be
just a crap way to live.
This came to me as I was going to bed. I often get second thoughts about sharing my poetry. I get some acceptance but a ton of rejection. About half the people where I live don’t want to hear it whatever it happens to be. Over time it has a severe eroding effect on my confidence as a poet.
