Tree after tree after tree stood bare
Robbing the landscape of natural ware.
But life for nature soon shall return
To clothe all that is naked and bare.

All things wintry are starting to slip
Sunshine and blue skies are on the mend.
Jack Frost is losing his chilly grip
As the weather pursues a new trend.

Snow upon snow ‘pon snow gently fell
But now it is slowly melting away.
Lovely scenes languishing in the wake,
As pristine white is spun into gray.

Soon the spring comes--glorious and brave,
As the bleak Winter goes to her grave.

We have become static on the television
Ringing noises at random moments
Sore backs in cold weather
Knees that don't always bend the right way
Hair that doesn't comply to orders
Traffic jams in hot weather
Gum that has lost its flavor
The warm side of the pillow
Frayed shoe laces without purpose
We have let our lives
Become the trivial annoyances
The writers block accepted
Giving in to the frivolous empathy
We complain is everyday life
We let the small things in life bother us too often. Sometimes we need to accept it so we can find optimism layered somewhere underneath.
A thousand memories are made,
Every night and day,
Polaroid or mere time,
Memories that you will share in life.

Looking back, you will feel,
Nostalgia a feeling of longing shall reel,
Every scent and song from the past,
Will evoke a memory in your dream.

Floral perfume from mothers locks,
Mixed with dirt from  childhood fights,
The smell of paper and endless books,
Is it exams or the fright?

This familiar emotion of delight,
So very strange and foreign,
But in empty roads of memories,
It's a feeling you've never forgotten.
