Lazy afternoon’s shimmering
ribbons dance in skyward views
while blushing cloud formations
float on breathless breezes
and azure dreams

as silence sifts the wandering sunset
‘pon reclining horizon’s sighs
Welcoming twilight in apricot whispers,
bidding farewell to another day

A violin is given life
when bought out of its
coffin. It's given a life
when held with tender
and care. It's not just
wood with strings. It
has a voice that can sing
and a pulse that beats in
the violinists talented
hands. The sound it does
while its strings are plucked
leave it's audience breathless
and gasping for air while
shouting for an applause.
A violin is given life when
you carry it around in the
light and fresh air. It's given
life when held in your gentle
hands* ~

I await patiently for you
On this path of forgotten dreams
Surrounded by lost souls
And angels without wings

It pains me as your eyes turn back
All beliefs are anything but matter of fact
And if I fly away to that celestial shore
For you I'll wait forevermore...

Please don't wrap your words around her
direct them straight to her heart
point them in her direction
bounce them off each shining star

She'll beg you not to mention
words of longing or of lust
enticing her to look your way
words wrapped in cotton wool and trust

Never write words for a woman
as she'll take them to her soul
breathing them in like air
not noticing she's about to fall

Her heart is so very fragile
feelings, just ready to explode
fraying quickly around the edges
when she reads your first 'Hello'

teasing sweat
from every pore
of your body
you writhe against
invisible bonds
your limbs held
by my voice
and sensation alone
I will torture you
gently with sweetness
till you vibrate
and ring out
like a struck gong

Your receding steps
echo upon my forehead
like dripping torture.

Drops of memories
patter down gently, wet your
unused pillowcase.

A gulf of unsaid
endearments erode the shore of
common happiness.

Silence, like water,
a universal solvent:
breaking down years of
bonds which held us together,
watching love spiral away.
