Lifted from impassioned sea
Where destiny awaits
Silver curls
And deathly rips
Gilled fins and fingertips
Turquoise-greens
Scales that shimmer
Hooked and speared
Dark gets dimmer
The Mermaids tale
Will coexist
With other legends
Who became extinct
Kenya83 Apr 2018
With the frictional strike of a single match
Two full moons in crescent eyes
And forever in your smile
You fire up intensity
Lighting eternity
With crackled insecurities
And contradictories glow
Sunrise and sunset
You emit them both
Inspiration is found here
Perfectly, impossibly flawed

Tsunamis flood my flesh
Internal heat simmers
External skin shivers
Physical reactions happen
The power of imagination
But more compelling
Are your lips
Your hands on my hips
Connecting with my mind
Your eyes fixed on mine
Kenya83 Apr 2018
Wild flowers creep up your skin
Relentlessly Spring finds life through the cracks
Feeding off your tears
Emitting floral scent
Without consideration for regret
Hope never stopped to think about hoping
Nature never considers early death

I sent you a message via shooting star
With faith in gravitations path
Unable to track delivery
A celestial display of high-velocity
Where unique reference numbers lack
Idiosyncratic constellations react
Trusting in the universe
My wish upon a star
Travelled lightyears
Disguised as whispers
On your soul
Kenya83 Apr 2018
With eyes like stars
of never ending galaxies
If this is everlasting
Then infinity is welcome
If these are the last eyes I see
Mortality can take me

The night

Passed by before I had chance
To close my eyes

Darkness fell in to thoughts
Wondering alone

Soaked up quickly by the light
Of day

I pray, when it comes around again
My mind will have less to say
