The sharks came last night
One of my greatest fears
So I let myself be swallowed

You pace the walls

Ignorance is sure to be bliss

Opening up the wound sticking your hand in
You have guts in your hand
Facing your own messy entrails
Why they cause you so much pain
How black the blood became
Without ever understanding why
Eyes on your shadow side
Soul that seems less whole
But how can you be whole without all sides
Your soul is your guide
It is alive in nightshade or sunlight
You just have to make friends with it  
Accept it is a part of us all
Reflecting compassion and understanding to one another's
shadow soul

Taste me with your lips
Hear me as I am
Hold me with my passions
Never feel me as undone
Wild women grown from the depths of earth the howl of sweet savage air and fiery flames of sun
So make me moan with pleasure on wings of ecstasy
Or run far away as I fly to where true natures heart calls destined home to be

Peppery beans?

I thought about killing myself many times
Once when he told me the pills took weren't enough
A time when the oncoming cars felt enough
The bringing myself to the not good I'm not tough
The worst is the pain when feel not or never really loved
Your heart breaks you take what you should
It's a shame we deserve all we feel we could

As a little girl
I didn't feel this world
Didn't want to speak to anyone I met
Just listen to the sounds coming out from mouths
Observing in the now
Didn't feel I had anything that wouldn't be chuckled about anyhow
Apparently spoke in unknown tongue at very young
Brother had to translate
I wanted to be mute for awhile but no other would contemplate
Never felt belonging to this world or those who should feel close
Drawn to animals old wise friends and spirit company hosts

She was stunning and beautiful
A pleasure to be graced by her company
So much care for others
Humble in her ways with a strength that complimented
I don't know how she managed to dance on that pedestal without falling off
Perhaps it was her grace and how she never took she gave
So much shook around her but she never need look down

I'm sure there's so much more to come but I can look back and see why what was done was done
How it shaped and changed the girl inside
How much the internal struggle burned cyanide
Choking on too much anger hurt fear pride
Though sometimes having no good reason to find the worth I hide
Learnt to concentrate on not so great side
I would fight to catch the shine
But my mind was always falling further behind
Too many critical words they grew to be the only voice I heard
Still get it I listen but keep balance in check

Today I hit a wall where shadowed words fell out
Feeling boundaries are being crossed and fed up of holding out
The writing spills across the barricade that limits

The rage inside me pains and the ink leaks the bleeding from clasping veins

My light shone in me it broke me
The darkness felt like warmth
The pain echoed pleasure and the will made strong
The soothing disturbed me it's uncomfortable wake
The thoughts did destroy me
The soul did shake
The actions pull me down dug me to mine grave
The awareness plummeted me and the present received the gift
The moments of paradox
The light and the dark
They gave me roots and a shining bright spark
The mistakes brought the compassion
The aches gave me hope
The destruction new salvation
Heart so broke it can now know love
The world been a torture
The dreams were of death
Over and over again
Until
rebirth
The light and dark dance they have a fine romance and from that new steps are formed in balance in surrender in will to carry on
In the space between both
Can create anew

In detachment phase watched the world spill away
Saw objects just as they were
