Once the smoke clears I see the anger resentment in it's hold of pain and fear
In the end I hope nothing bad said to the ear will negatively impact the life in the moment or that year

Mind seeing patterns people
Then they appear to me

Sometimes I wonder
If it would be better / easier if I didn't think so much about that which I think
Am I overthinking this??

Too much time has gone past with pain and sorrow
Although I know it was what was needed in that moment
Im under no illusion they won't come round again and maybe even with harder truths
But for now and for future when I can walk with the day, I will
I'll wake up to more adventures
To enjoyment
To shake the comfort zone
To live more fully
This is my life and I don't want to go on feeling like I've already died
