I need it to rain-
for the sake of sanity

Blow hard the wind on the stony seashore
blow all the cobwebs from out of your soul
sadness and sorrow no longer belong there
it's time to refresh and feel once again whole.

Crisp are the winds as they ease fears away
starting a dawn of a clear brand new day
face to the sun and look forward to life
go for the future and a purposeful way.

Look to tomorrow, there's no going back
beyond the horizon and over the crest
move honestly forward and aim to do well
and effort and promise will help with the rest.

Opposed
September 03, 2014 Daily Poem

Locking Lips

"I swear when our lips touch,
I can taste the next
sixty years of my life"

Above is an excerpt from Rudy Francisco's Love Poem Medley

I highly doubt Opposed is Rudy Francisco... The poem of the day today did not acknowledge the original writer or poem only stated in the notes
"Thank you for selecting this as the daily poem! :)"**

It's ok to seek the elusive 15 minutes of fame as long as it's YOUR fame to celebrate...
If you think I'm being harsh just consider if it was your own piece of writing that was so blatantly flaunted by another as their own by denying acknowledgement to the rightful owner...
When the wind
Shouts down the leafs,
I hear.

If clouds mass
In formation,
I see.

As the ground
Rolls its fat,
I feel.

Should the rain
Reach my lips,
I taste.

After  bees
Give birth to scents,
I smell.

Near you,
I'm senseless.
Many words spoken
Leaves one in a quandary
Voicing their opinions
Wooing the crowds
But none touches the heart
It’s but a veil to disguise
