Shall I compare thee to a summer’s day?
Thou art more lovely and more temperate.
Rough winds do shake the darling buds of May,
And summer’s lease hath all too short a date.
Sometime too hot the eye of heaven shines,
And often is his gold complexion dimmed;
And every fair from fair sometime declines,
By chance, or nature’s changing course untrimmed.
But thy eternal summer shall not fade
Nor lose possession of that fair thou ow’st;
Nor shall death brag thou wand’rest in his shade,
When in eternal lines to time thou grow’st,
So long as men can breathe or eyes can see,
So long lives this, and this gives life to thee.

Star Gazer
A broken journey,
A tear stained path,
In some provokes love,
In some creates wrath.

A million miles,
A million tears,
Each with own's stories,
Most filled with fears.

A road chosen,
A mistake made,
I took a turn,
That can't be changed.

Mistakes came in many,
But the sun still remains in the sky,
And though the days get heavy,
Not every road remains awry.

The journey just continues on,
Many paths left to take,
These past roads have led me here,
But many choices are left to make.

Choose wisely the path you take,
Save yourself from another mistake.

Star Gazer
I don't know who I am,
I don't know what I am,
I don't know what to do,
I don't know what to be,
All I know is,
When you left you took something with you,
Something that made me feel like I knew things,
Something that allowed certainty to flow through my veins,
You took something,
And now I don't know what it was.
I miss you....
And no matter how much I can pretend I'm progressing.
My mind is still thinking about you.
I'm sinking into some kind of abyss
And it scares me.
I don't know anything anymore

Dance

Star Gazer
"He could not dance",
That was what he was told,
And given a chance,
He might have nothing to behold.

It didn't stop him from trying,
Because upon the dance floor,
He felt as though he was flying,
A bird without wings yet could soar.

To afraid to look a fool, he took classes,
Where he was sat between other dancers,
Attention aroused by female asse....glasses,
He found his one true calling, the answer.

He went upon the floor in stride,
Holding every piece of him up high,
And with every inch of pride,
He let out an ensemble of moves without try.

So if they ever said he could never dance,
Best believe that if he was given a chance,
He could make tears roll down faces,
By the way his body move and paces.

So don't let people define what you can,
Or can't do.

Conformity

two opaque eyes
stared in front of me
like two pearly moons
they swirled in milky ways
as I realized
they were what have become of me

quickly, I ****** my arms out
morning spring dew fluttering in
through these cracks of conformity
the piercing chilly wind
woke the life once of me

Back in the days I saw the kids
Playing outside
Enjoying their every moment
underneath the sun

We used to play in the dirt
No one cared how we looked
We ripped our jeans
No boundaries between us

We did not know the definition
Of colour, religion, race
We did not care
We were innocent

How I wish those times were back
The childish ignorance
No hate, judgement, discrimination
Some of us should take that as an example
Just another poem on tolerance. Children don't care about skin colour or other apearances. Sometimes even the youngest can teach us a lesson.

Tolerance

How hard can be a way
Of peace and tolerance
How come I see every day
People, who take every chance
To find a reason to discriminate
Colour, religion or gender
Why does it have to be so much hate
Why can't we treat each other tender
People so narrow-minded
Continuing to stir up trouble
Throughout their hatred they've been blinded
Here we stand in front of rubble
Let's pick up the pieces and built up a society based on equality
This poem is meant to be a plea. A plea to everyone to try contributing to a society, where people can be equal. To go out and start making a difference. Everyone can contribute. I really hope that one day we can look over the boundaries such as religion, coulour, *** or ****** orientation and treat each other the way everyone deserves to be treated.

Day
They say " You can't "
I say " I can "

They say " You'll never be enough "
I say " I've always been enough "

They say " You'll never add up to anything ''
I say " I'm here aren't I. "

You just have to remember that there will always be someone to criticize you.
You just have to stand up and say "No, I'm tired of what They say, this is what I say.
This is just a poem for people who get overlooked and overshadowed. People who think they can never be heard. You can. All you have to do is stand up and speak. Yeah people might not like what you say but WHO CARES. Just speak up for yourself and MOST importantly BE YOURSELF!!
