Kiss me deeply
Like you know I am better than the scars on my tongue

Kiss me with regret
Knowing we will never have this exact moment back

Kiss me tomorrow
Because I will need a reminder I am alive

Kiss me one more time
Just once more
I need to know
You are still here

Unbroken
Is this thread
Thin but very strong
Holding through the years
Tied around your heart and mine
Becoming shorter every passing day
Closer and closer we are pulled...no, guided
Eventually bringing us both together
Revealing our waited destiny
Reducing this distance
Until finally we are
Joined as one
Forever

The moment God folded us into flesh
He wrote about perfection in his journal
Put our picture on his refrigerator
Day dreamed about selflessness
Spoke of passion
Wrote a book on love
As the dust settled on that day
God rested for he knew
We were fully broken
Ready to be made right

Her eyes became the only sunrise I needed
Palms a landscape of familiar territory
The hair on her head
The hair on her head
The hair on her head
It suffocates me sometimes
Makes me feel vibrant
Teeth full of star shine
I took to studying the imperfections of her body
To find the stories in her scars
Memorize the curvature of her spine
The swagger of her walk
These things replay in my mind
Just as darkness never falls in the arctic during summer
She does not leave my mind in the present

An alien desire takes over
Never felt before
New awareness of existence
When I obliterate the visible
Fortify the mind from distractions
So many structures
Creating an ugly landscape
Obfuscating the horizon
Take control of the imagination
To expunge the unnecessary
Extravagant paraphernalia
Overt exhibition of the trivial
Making a jest of this rich life
Veer away from the mindless journey
Let the alien desire take over
None but you can salvage yourself
From the onslaught of false conformations
Nothing of this will last
Take refuge in the truth of nothingness
Be aware of new existence
In perfect ecstasy and coherence
With the harmonious waves of universe

She pick pocketed all the moments she told me she loved me
Strong arm robbed me of the hope planted in my sternum
Took the few words still stuck on my tongue
And so I forgave her

My heart did not break
The sun still rose today
And the rain reminded me I can still feel
And so I forgave her

I will move slowly forward
Finding new ways to forget her
Plucking her like cotton out of my memory
So I can forgive her

God decided to write her as a constellation
All beauty, yet slightly misunderstood
She stood
A median beyond heavenly rustic hinges
Only god himself has the patience for the excellence between us
We built books
Attempting to explain
How she became the light upon darkness
The flame moving toward arrival at light speed
Accompanied by mother moon
