the Sandman
Love’s rising tide, from
Rest to rest; your moon-obsessed
Gleam rolled, on ripples
Am I good enough?
Can I woo her with my muscles?
Can I please her and make her mine?
thats not me
Sure I want to woo the girls,
be admired and whispered about.
But that is something that I can never have.
Because I am that kind of guy who wears black all the time,
I don't really work out,
I am a little heavier,
and I listen to "screamo"
These guys who think
they can be trash
and be okay
just because they got a big ****
are *******
They don't deserve the good girls they have.
They won't know what it's like to be lonely.
They won't know what it's like
to wish upon every birthday
to just be loved
cuz they got lines of women
just waiting to be next,
while guys like us
would slit our wrists to be kissed they way the get kissed.
From (my type) guy perspective,
this is *******
What's so wrong with me anyway?
Why do you think I can't be enough.
My love is like an ocean
it never ends
but
they don't know that.
I'm the kind of guy who is
"too much of a brother"
or
"my best friend"
while I sit with the unclaimed flowers.
Why am I left this way?
who can love me?
I've had it with rejection and ****...
anyone else?

Spinning and spinning, around and round
Never knowing what will be found
Between love and pain, back and forth, door to door
Which one will I open now, will it knock me on the floor
Pain can leave you lying
Love can set you to flying
So I'm caught between ying and yang
Feeling like a yo-yo again

We're living in a society where eyes are used to think
Instead of brains.
We're living in a society where heart supposed to reddened by love
but darkened by hate.
We're living in a society where people are willing to down people
just for the sake of fame.
We're living in a society where everyone's dying to take the credit
but afraid to take the blame.
I just ******* hate this society.

Can you teach me how to smoke,
At the indoor pool?
Cannabis and chlorine
On a night so cool.
I can ditch the white pills
Without crushing the moon,
If you can roll something up
Without killing the mood.
         What's left to prove
If it's just me and you?
I mean, you and I
Decide
If we have any rules.
We can feel, we can chill.
We can deal with the truth.
                   Cannabis and chlorine.
Fuse green with the blue.
Cannabis and chlorine.
A mixture of hues.
All you gotta do
Is make my lungs so confused.
Cannabis and chlorine,
When it's just me and you.
Can you teach me how to smoke
At the indoor pool?
From a dream I had.

Playing girls
Like the strings of my
Guitar.
I ain't never goin' far
With this sting in my
Heart.

My heart beats
With great pause and
Delay.
I remember yester-morning
Just to blind out today.

Today can be good if
My lust simmers down.
It ascends from the rain
Like roses from the ground.

Forevermore, never more
Is this a game.
Just induct me into the ****
Player's hall of fame.

Poetry by MAN
A poet is not perfect* although some claim to be
Scribblers of thought watchers of humanity
Pen every emotion fill it with devotion
Ride waves of passion chaotic like the ocean
A poet is not perfect with more than eyes we see
What's hidden what lies between prophecy
Future unfolding the past we keep holding
Now keeps rolling do you remember where you're going?
A poet is not perfect hmm what does this mean?
From life experience write a scene
Words forever blending combinations never ending
Translation of thought keeps the message sending
A poet is not perfect neither is humanity
Speakers of truth live on edge of sanity
Recognize what's broken book wide open
Read between lines multiply the hoping
A poet is not perfect many strive to be
Most fall victim to vanity
Born reactive to what's attractive
Division of emotions leave most subtracted
A poet is not perfect or what you might think
One universal mind flowing in sync
Discovering depth waking from sleep
Breaking silence with words perfect poetry we speak

It is 1:20 am
And I am at 7%
And I have only one bar of signal
And my screen tells me
"Reconnecting..."

                              I'm 93% done with 'us;'
You have drained each per cent of my patience.
                              I'm getting mixed signals
From the language of your body,
                              And very few at that.
But I take a chance on us,
                              Another chance,
                              At this hour of lateness,
Maybe we can rebound and re-bond
                              And not just reminisce.
                              I reckon we could
                              Reconnect.
