Aren't  winking stars daydreams
of the dark night?*
each glint in your eyes,
is reborn as a song in my psyche.
You are a melancholy mermaid,
neither here nor there, pain eats your soul,
I am a centaur of desire,
fallen between man and animal.

I speak life
To the people
On the earth.
I speak life
To the people
Through their trials
I speak life
To the people
In the dark
The people
On the brink
Who are hurting
Everyone
Who is hurting
Who is lost
Lost in their souls
Captive to their minds
I speak life
And healing
Light and strength
To all who need it
You can make it
We need each other
I speak life into
Your soul
You are too
Important
Too lovely
Too beautiful
Too bright
To let your spirit die
I am naked, from the soul down
a traveler without a ticket,
to the luminance beyond the galaxies.
I beget love,
seek beauty beyond limits, sing.
let me kiss your heart,
because, i see it responds,
to me in eloquent silence.
*let me be a bard, with magic wings
to reach you, and nestle in your serene heart.
kiss my soul with your words, once
make me immortal.
When you leave this dream for the next, what would you take with you?  Think
The best poems of mine,
were written in my heart,
only for you to read;
you forgot, where it was kept,
and left without a word
.
I was about to cut away the bruises
until I saw their charm

Reaping the trees
I snagged the deepening black scrapes
it said to me in its way
that I was all remaining hope

I'll hold you in my basket
sweetie
in the kitchen you'll humiliate the others
with your colors

soft to the touch, you squish inward
hardly able to stand up for yourself
splotchy red with shame
warped straight face staring

can you breathe
through those holes?
I was about to cut away the bruises
until I saw their charm
a struggling artist in the fields

you were different with rot
distorted, grieving skin
keeping only the brown of the stem
the way it's usually seen

I only took a bite
to relish the unfamiliar
                                             I'll realize later
                                             I want better
