There comes a time in life
when you start letting go for peace.
Relationships. Wealth. Power. Style. Food.
And in the quiet, you find yourself.

The new moon.
Present, yet unseen.

the fullness of words in your mouth
my trembling hands
a truth cuts deep
into the ribs of morning
it's the big bang of language
when silence has no shadow

She left the room,

Maybe forever.

But her shadow stayed,

Faint but there.

I felt the presence,

But it was never enough.

Something in me just held on,  

If not her at least the last glimpse I had.



I wished it was all a dream,

I wish I would wake up.

She left me alone,

But her shadow was always loyal.

That mirror that remembers more than a face,

And all the memories you want to erase.

Even that tear and scar you forgot about,

And every time you had a doubt.

The mirror was called more than a few names,

Every time with inner shame.  



The mirror prays every day,

That one day maybe you both see the same.
