It's so interesting,
It's beautiful and astonishing,
with so much more to it than we already know

The trees, mountains and seas are just the beginning,
what about it's creatures and it's processes,

Something impossible to understand
but do we really need to; knowing
it's way beyond our knowledge
when we can simply enjoy it and love it.

~ S.G
Nature knows how to heal herself, even humans are a part of it. It's just way beyond our understanding.
We are not heroes.
We are just people,
trying to survive.
You and I,
are not equals.
You work from home
while I...
I work to ensure
that I get to keep mine.
They call us essential,
because we provide
all the food and the things
that help keep you alive.
But I am resentful
that I don't get to decide,
What is more worthy,
my labor or life?
So don't call me a hero.
I am simply doing
what has to be done.
Don't call me a hero,
unless you plan to treat
and pay me like one.
Black box baboons speak.
Window lookers, people of screens.
Input character.

Aim high reach for the star and sky
Shun your laziness and fear
Stride in the right path with head held high
Aiming to reach the goal
Missing May
May has many days of fun
Of siblings and cousins
Parents and children
May comes with those lovely
May flowers
Every year we wait upon May
May certainly brings the family together
There was never a may or may not
May always meant togetherness
The kids have their summer vacation
May brings some hot Sun
But it’s worth it with all the fun
Ice creams and shakes
With the entire family
Never alone
May brings the happiest memories
Memories of childhood
Summer vacations spent
At maternal grandparents‘ home
With most loved and now missed,
Crazy cousins
Madness and never ending fun
Watching back to back movies on the VCR
Until Nani(maternal grandma) came and simply switched off the TV
And ask us all to come out and join her at the dining table, coz it’s time for lunch
As none of us would budge from the mini home theatre we would make with the
room dark and cold
Sometimes we would watch horror movies and then later scared, none would leave the room alone
By evening we all looked like zombies
When we came out of the house to play
squinting eyes in the mellow, evening sun
There are innumerable memories of our visit to the beach
With our most lovely Mausi( Mother’s sister), all packed in the car, the driver would drive us straight to our most loved place, The Juhu beach
Making sandcastles and running on the beach and jumping into the waves, close to the shore
The  humid weather and the salty ocean air and sand sticking to the skin
We would eat those yummy chaat and ice creams
Yes those were the days from childhood
Forever etched in the heart and cherished
Those memories
Today in the lockdown with my lovely family of four( two boys, my spouse & me)
I reminisce
This is a raw unedited piece
This time of the year, we are generally at my mother’s place in my hometown( summer vacations for the kids)
This year owing to the pandemic we are in a lockdown
Timely wrapped
To make a word wrap

Saves a thought
From a word drought

Survival from the swamp
No word ever goes damp
A thought to survive in a swamp of many
Has to be timely worded

I enjoy writing about thoughts, purely words :)
Meaningless

A world to me

Contagious

To the world it can be

Spread

At your own risk

Happiness  or none

To the world as it believes
To drink the sweet water
Walk up to the river
It seldom streams into your home
Poems not visible on the home stream!!
Truth is true
You believe in it, as you believe it is

Lies
You believe it is, as you don’t believe in it

Perception
You have your own and believe in it

Untruths
Hurt, as some truths do too

As
Truth is true
You believe in it, as you believe it is
