This is my domain....please don't refrain from asking me any questions of where I get my ideas for writing....and I'm willing to accept constructive criticism too and....again welcome to my page....my name is seth....but call me bones
Walk with me barefoot in the snow
dance with me naked in the rain
Tell me your darkest secrets
let me kiss your pain away
Hold your breath and count to ten
let your body relax
Take my hand and run
try not to breathe so fast
Say your last words
as the spark leaves your eyes
Watch your life play back to you in flashbacks
as death takes you by surprise
Jump off of that cliff your so afraid of
let your body break into pieces on the ground
Let your soul enter eternity
do not make a sound

I want back what I have lost.
To be whole once more,
To find the piece that fits.
I can't feel much;
But what I can,
Is just enough
To get up again.
The hope that tomorrow,
I'll find someone new,
To help me place the pieces;
To show me love again
letting loose old chains
you and your wry laughter
defeated by the day old machines
of life and their constant clogging

time's hands tear into spring
nail first, peeling off the light constricting canopy
twisting barbwire off delicate skin
strangling you on a couch from hell

wake up to the smell of bourbon
and dead roses - so pretty
your lashes creating the shadows
on your gaunt cheekbones,
and your name is Soul
i struggle a ton with full length poems but thank you all for reading

edit: thank you, sexywiggle, for lighting this poem up
Each curl of conversation
stills my tongue, half-sentences
stranded in the mire
of biting reason

words silently form
protests, defenses
reasons and intentions

worthless to ears already fed
with the insistent conundrum
accompanying every attempt
at reconciliation.
