Born to be
Free;
But I was born
American?
war
a combustion of memories
fiercely illuminates the night sky
with a blazing spectrum of red.

amber,
vermilion,
scarlet.

underneath our last plenilune,
the distance between us narrows as rapidly as our
heartbeat's crescendo.

we surrender.

into each other's embrace,

diminuendo.
Reprieve \Folder:  Heart aesthetics

a breath drawn ever so lightly,
so cautiously aware.
the rain drops fell lightly and kissed the dry ground.
a blessing eases out from under a rock
blood  from a stone turned to wine
the cool breeze caresses
and the heat slips into sleepy embers
the wind gently consoles.
the nagging worry eases on the shoulder
knowing too well the conjuresome
tricks of the fire storm,
a breath, a beat;
a sideways glance;
a view to a ****.

Gonna die broke.

Angst, not this man
That be his plan.
My treat.
Feed the world.
That be the word.

Why eat home tonite?

Get on a plane,
Be the plan.
Feed the world
Specifically,
You and me,
In NYC.

Brasserie,
Patisserie
Hot Dog Cart
Wine Bar
Chinese
Thai
Felafel
Haute Cuisine,
Street steak,
Lean and mean.

Pizza in between
All meals
With white cloth napkins,
Real silverware.

Need your help
To execute
The best laid plan.

But one thing you
You
Need to do,
Need to due.

Bring Milk Duds
For desert.

When the account says zero,
Some might say you're a hero,
Even tho can't afford a casket,
(Maybe just a picnic basket?)
I will be buried with taste!

The taste of you and NYC
Upon his smacking lips,
Une bonne mémoire,
C'est tout, au revoir!

Here Lies The Teenager:
Somewhere between awkward love making
and suicidal tendencies.
Woman in a black dress

(Who died?)

Who indeed!

•••

Tell me

WHO IS NOT DYING

RIGHT NOW?

••

Read the poetry!

------

The name of every one is

DEATH

••

Licking their scars.....?

ALL THE LITTLE BOYS AND GIRLS

••

Slaves on the Plantation
Called

THE WORLD

••

(woman in a black dress)

•••••

We......?

NOBODY SEES A THING ANY MORE

••

Woman in a black dress?

*****!

••

See the little boys and girls

Having *** with their Masters!

ENSLAVED DEPRAVED AFRAID

TO BE FREE!

We wear the black dress proudly

WHY?

I DONT KNOW
When she comes out too early, is she hoping for attention?
She does not get it, nobody ever says "the moonrise is so beautiful this evening"
She is overpowered by her rival everyday. Every evening, every morning.

Sometimes she puts on makeup, an orange hue
An attention getter, these are the only nights we talk about her, create gossip of her rare beauty

There is a side we do not know, she holds mysteries the world may never discover
And her secrets, dark and alluring
Yet she attracts no visitors, the era of investigation dead and gone

Will she ever feel the love that her dear mother receives?

Does she cry when she is gone?

Would we even notice her absence?
She can't even look away from her ignorance, always facing her demising audience
If only people would pay more attention. Someday she may just disappear to gain revenge

And then what?
