Think I'm bulletproof
A thick skin and paper heart
But, I'm the reverse

I pray to God
He grants me
A beautiful woman.

and by beautiful i don't mean
in the shade of her skin
or the height of her cheekbones
or the voluptuousness of her body
or the colour of her eyes

By beautiful I mean those traits
that are more than skin deep
The ones that are
soul deep.

that little girl
with innocent eyes
and a sweet smile
tortured and *****
even the devil
must be surprised
at the evil
and tyranny of men
i am saddened to be a part of humanity
or more accurately
the lack of it.
A young kashmiri girl was tortured, ***** and killed. When i heard about this story i started to cry. I had to release this emotion into a short piece.

I wander throught the works of art
upon a gorgeous but cool day,
Bewildered by the beauty
(and the price they ask to pay).

Paintings hang in canvas booths
in styles of every kind.
Statues, crafts and metalwork
aesthetically designed

Food and drink and music too
a rousing, festive place.
But oh my friends, the greatest art
was smiles on every face.

So many strangers mingling
with a common goal to share
To wit: a friendly greeting
and goodwill enough to spare.

Indeed, the day was perfect
with weather cool and fine.
But nothing tops a friendly smile
in harmony with mine.

Oh no you don't, website.

I want no part of this selection process.

Please remove this.

stellar masses collide
beyond you; they silhouette
your ethos, slip loose your
hair—
they pattern your fingertips
and colour your
sigh

their flame:
a colossus
in your eyes.

Can you feel my presence
When I come to you in dreams
Are your memories of me as pleasant
As the songs we used to sing

Do you know that much about me
I used to know you pretty well
You were the angel in my heaven
Until that day I fell

Do you look at those old pictures
Of when you were a child
I only wanted to be with you
Only wanted you to smile

Do you hate the things I’ve done
Do you blame me for your pain
It’s the fact that I still love you
That keeps me in these chains
