When I was younger, I used to think I was going to be a Star.
Under a spotlight where everyone knew my name...
I was five.

Now, I want shadows and to be as far away as possible.
Hidden and far from consequence,
And even further from myself.
Where my name is not a name,
But just another word without any true meaning.

When I was younger, I used to think I was going to be a Star.
Now, I want to disappear.

I should have jumped overboard when I had the chance.

On Autumn leaves and au-burn haze,
Running on wild and empty fields,
Soon the spring would come and bloom,
And when the roses burn ablaze,
But Now the fire has reached my room,
Where i could stare in unending gloom,
Soon i would burn in ashes so black,
Asking the flame what do i lack,
You are the flaw says the flame,
Nor to love ,Nor to tame,
Then only death is i wish and long,
As i am not a bird with a pretty song,
Nor to cage ,Nor to claim,
Only to burn on a burning stake,
If i stay ,If i stray;
Shall i be bound ,Shall i be caged
Either way is to burn away;
To breathe, to live is a mortal's pray,
Either way im bound to break,
I won't strive ,i won't thrive,
This time i'll burn alive.

My legs are nailed to the ground.
The blood gushes out—
but it doesn’t hurt as much.

I watch you all do great things,
buy pretty silks,
while I sit here and marinate.

Guilt, laziness, and loneliness
coat me well.
Every crevice of my being
feels heavy and aimless.

I'll laugh at it all,
give advice to my babies,
criticize those working hard
while I spend the day staring.

Pause is now my friend.

I need to move.
I need to run.
I need to fall.
I need to change.

Falling like crystals,
Raindrops from the sky.
Unfurled like a blanket,
Black clouds seem to cry.

And my room is filled
With earthy scent of soil and clay.
It evokes all my memories
And nostalgia all the day.

Joined by the dancing peacock,
It quenches thirst of flowers.
Crying all the way,
Black clouds loose all their water.

I turn the music up louder
Like it will drown out my thoughts
They just adapt to the beat.

When you looked me
In the eye
And said you wanted to die -
To let go of Life‘s grasp,
I saw her cry
And beg for your forgiveness.

An orange flower
sways in the wind,
like the curl that falls across your forehead.
I am reminded of the shape
of your eyes,
the curve of your hips,
your smile in the sun.

One day,
I‘ll hold your hand
while you carry a little version of you
and my life will be absolute.
It’ll be all of you,
all of me,
cradled in your arms,
always.
