You heard my cries
You saw the good in me
You don't care that I can't see
You've lifted my spirits
You've given me hope
I know tomorrow will be better,
Just because of what you said
Thankyou
Not the best but it's for a friend

Maggie White
This is something
She cannot hide.

Love lost.
Time spent.
The rhymes of the heart spoken.

Two souls fought
To save themselves.
But were they lost
Along the way?

Scars seem healed.
Nothing but paint to cover.
Promises broken.
Trust shattered.
Left to bleed.

A tangle of fear,
Of muffled calls
And dying hope.

She couldn't sink far enough
Into the ground.

Crack
Crack
Goes the heart.

It's all he can hear.
Resented is the reaction.
He coats it
With lies.

He can hear nothing.
Nothing at all.

She's forced to sleep
With screams and cries,
For this is something
She cannot hide...

She believed.
He lied.

Silence Screamz
Quivering chills
Shadows stand over
Taking her breathes
Stay under the cover

Feeling the pressure,
the crucified call.
Lucifer sighs forward
"Bring me her soul!"

Surrounded by sirens,
dark bellowed knights,
Up on their horses
With fire piercing sights

Screaming for mercy,
Gripping the sheets,
Swords pierce her heart
Lord Lucifer shrieks!!

Her eyes,
Like many others,
Are the color of a turbulent sea
Her voice,
Like many others,
Is gentle, yet forceful at the same time
Her words,
Like many others,
Bring kindness and laughter to the world
Her thoughts,
Like many others,
Are full of demons that she rarely shows
Her mind,
Like many others,
Is a medley of music and poems
Her heart,
Like many others,
Sits squarely in the right place

The little things about her,
Individually,
Are nothing special
But by some act of serendipity
They have coalesced
And I am thankful every day that they did

You are so much more than a collection of adjectives
You are my best friend (and probably my soul mate)
Kaitlyn I basically wrote you a love poem because we're a little bit married already. I'm sorry it's not the best but it's pretty late and for some reason I decided that I should do this now.

softly step through the fields of heaven,
biting through your frozen fingers,
tired toes devouring flesh,
of first born hands handicapped,
patting pants in hopes of change,
the eternal deathly doldrums,
commonplace complacence,
with cheap creeped fast food,
eternally eching for the source,
for majorities soaring sorrow.

Julia Mia
I can see her there, Sophie
she’s sitting on a bench waiting for that bus
Her knees are curled and she’s on the phone
waiting, waiting for me to join her

I can see her there, Sophie
she is dressed in black
Her hair a fiery blue with layers and layers of shame
Her shoulders covered with fur

Sophie’s here alright, everywhere around
She sits across the table, eating the air
I look down at my plate, she’s gotten so full
My cauldron is full of jewels

She won’t leave me alone
Sophie cares too much to leave
No one else can see her, she’s sitting in that chair
No I’m not alone, Sophie smothers me

But Sophie gives me a name;
Ana or Mia or Ed

Maybe I don’t mind her suffocating presence
