Come into our sea of hope

A little comfort to help you cope

If you think you cannot swim

We'll hold your hands and guide you in

No hate no pain no judgement here

Just helpful skill to calm your fear

And if you happen to shed a tear

To us your pain is crystal clear

You cannot drown in our sea of hope

We all reach out untill you float

Occasionally you may yourself capsize

And feel all troubled and lost inside

That is when yourll find our anchor

We will keep you grounded safe inside

Until you live and dont need to hide

After the silence always here at your side

So awaken let go learn to glide

Fallen Angel
Written for after the silence

After Silence

by Fallen Angel

Come drift with us where hope runs deep,
A gentle tide where sorrow sleeps.
If you feel lost and cannot swim,
We’ll take your hands and pull you in.

No hate, no harm, no judging eyes—
Just quiet hearts and open skies.
And if a tear slips down your face,
We see your pain, we hold your place.

You’ll never drown in waters wide,
For love surrounds on every side.
And when the waves rise dark and high,
We lift you up, we help you fly.

At times you may be tossed, unmoored,
By storms within you, long endured.
But that is when you’ll feel us near—
A steady anchor, strong and clear.

You’ll find your breath, your light, your way,
And see the dawn break into day.
No longer needing walls to hide,
You’ll live, you’ll love, you'll turn the tide.

For after silence, songs begin—
A sacred hush, then strength within.
So rise, unfold, let stillness guide—
We’re always here, right by your side.

Begin again write it still
You capture lose the will
Quiet thoughts enter still
Waters edge be still
Gather paper gather stone
Empty room quiet storm
Efforts their hopes lost
Eager to but tied to start
Aching in the empty dark
This piece has a minimal, almost meditative intensity—fragmented but emotionally rich, like breath caught between thoughts. It reads like the quiet aftermath of an emotional wave, and would work beautifully as a spoken-word interlude or a melancholic ambient song. I've expanded and shaped it gently into a song form while honoring its sparse, aching tone.

As a song

🎵 “Begin Again (Be Still)”

Ambient / Spoken Word / Experimental – Slow tempo (60 bpm)
Written by: Morning Star

🎶 Intro (Whispered/Soft Vocals)
Begin again...
Write it still...
You capture, then lose the will...

🎶 Verse 1
Quiet thoughts—they enter still
By the water’s edge, I feel
Nothing moves, yet everything aches
A paper heart, a world that breaks

🎶 Verse 2
Gather stone, gather sheet
Empty room with no retreat
Quiet storm, no thunder near
Only shadows, loud with fear

🎶 Bridge (Half-Spoken / Half-Sung)
Efforts made, then hopes forgot
Every eager start—untied, then caught
I want to move, I want to try
But I ache…
In this empty dark, I lie

🎶 Chorus (Soft echo-layered)
Begin again... write it still
Silence comes and bends the will
Aching arms with nothing held
Wishing words would just be felt

🎶 Outro (Whispered)
Begin again…
Begin again…
Be still...

🎵 "Akaken Me"

Genre: Dream-Folk / Emotional Ballad
Tempo: Slow, ethereal (70 bpm)
Written by: Morning Star

---

🎶 Verse 1
A gentle, loving smile I see
A tall man standing next to me
You softly wrapped my beating heart
Whispered I was brave and smart
You left the sadness in the past
But the silence always seemed to last

---

🎶 Verse 2
Five years of asking why
Now I see—you never said goodbye
Pictures of you make me weep
Still you're the calm I try to keep
You told me once, you had the best
When your wild heart laid down to rest

---

🎶 Chorus
Forget the years I walked alone
The fear, the cold, the empty home
Only kindness, only grace
Can hold your memory in place
You were my sweet and gentle light
That flickered once, then left the night

---

🎶 Verse 3
I felt so safe when I was small
You caught me every time I'd fall
I'll always thank the stars above
For teaching me what it meant to love
But love like yours, a fleeting thread
That spun a web… then left me bled

---

🎶 Bridge (spoken/sung with ambient echo)
You let me in, then turned away
Half of me safe... the rest your prey
No warning sign, no final word
Just vanished wings, like ghost unheard
No help would come, no hand to hold
You flew away… your silence cold

---

🎶 Final Chorus
Forget the years I wandered blind
Still searching for your heart in mine
Only warmth, only the start
Will ever hold your missing part
Sleep now, my friend, though skies are grey—
You left, but I remain…
Akaken me.
—“Akaken Me”—has a deeply personal, emotionally raw tone. It begins with tenderness and warmth, then slowly reveals betrayal, abandonment, and unresolved grief. There's beauty in the gentleness of memory, but also a haunting sharpness in how that love became a trap.
Morning Star: A Light Beyond Goodbye

We gather here beneath the endless sky,
To speak your name, to let the silence cry.
A country pumpkin, city-born and free,
Escaped to Shropshire’s hills — where you longed to be.

You loved the hare’s soft whisper through the grass,
And elephants’ strength — steady as they pass.
A heart that forgave with effortless grace,
A laughter that could brighten any place.

December’s chill and spring’s first bloom,
You carried joy like flowers in a room.
A runner’s spirit, boxing’s fierce might,
You moved through life with fearless light.

You loved the water — river, swim, and kayak’s glide,
And Italy’s warm sun, your heart’s soft guide.
A poet writing A Space To Be,
You gave the world your soul — wild, brave, and free.

A mother’s love, a grandmother’s arms,
Like Mary Poppins, you worked your charms.
A nanny’s gentle touch, a story spun,
Bringing magic to each child, every one.

You missed your mom with quiet grace,
A silent ache no time could erase.
Yet through the loss, your spirit soared,
A light that lives forevermore.

Your laughter lingers on the breeze,
Your courage woven through the trees.
Though now your footsteps softly cease,
Your love remains — our lasting peace.

We carry you within our hearts,
A living poem, a work of art.
No goodbye can dim the truth we know:
Morning Star, you’ll never cease to glow.

So as we stand with tears that fall,
Remember love, the greatest gift of all.
Your story’s written in the stars above —
A shining testament of boundless love.

You loved the water’s soft, sure tide,

With magic woven everywhere.
A poet’s heart that set us free,
You gave us all A Space To Be.

---

🌌 [Bridge]

Am – G – F – C
You missed your mother, soft and true,
Am – G – F – C
But somehow her light lived on in you.
F – G – Em – Am
And now you soar where angels sing,
F – G – C
A soul that danced through everything.

---

🌟 [Final Chorus]

(Repeat chorus, build it emotionally with slight dynamic rise—more passion)
Optional final line (slow down here):
F – G – C
You shine… a light beyond goodbye.

---

🎧 Performance Suggestions:

Intro: Pick or softly strum the chords from the first verse once through to set the mood.

Vocals: Gentle, sincere. Emphasize emotional phrasing—breathe into “You’re the light beyond goodbye” like it’s a prayer.

Instrumentation: Start minimal (just guitar or piano), then build in subtle strings or harmonies by the bridge or final chorus.

Outro: Fade out slowly, maybe with soft humming or a single piano note fading.

🎵 “A Little of Mary”

🎶 Verse 1
In my quiet little corner,
Where the sunlight warms the wall
I feel Our Lady in my heart
And I’m not afraid at all

A statue carved from ancients stone
A cross of  olive wood
A prayer that finds its voice again
In silence understood

---

🎶 Verse 2
A stone from far-off seas
A rosary from Malta’s shore
A candle lit from Notre-Dame
And Mary's love once more

A picture of the child I was
And sacred water blessed
These pieces hold my memories
They bring my soul to rest

---

🎶 Chorus
It’s my chapel, my small grace
Where the world slows down its pace
In the garden, ‘neath the cherry tree
She watches over me
A fallen angel at her side
In my garden of prayer I hide

---

🎶 Verse 3
I’d forgotten how I loved them
These symbols soft and true
Now I hold a cross each morning
A gift from someone who
Sees the faith I sometimes lose
And gives me peace anew

---

🎶 Final Chorus (gentler)
This is my chapel, my still light
Where daybreak meets the quiet night
With Mary’s eyes and angel’s face
I find again my sacred place
And in her silence, I can see
The little bit of her in me

---

🎶 Outro (spoken or whispered)
It’s wonderful there…
That little bit of Mary…
That lives in me.

A Space

by Morning Star

In the quiet of my mind,
I create a space—
a garden not of earth,
but of breath and spirit,
where beauty moves like water,
and light wears the scent of flowers.

Here, the daisies dance to heart-song,
and buttercups—tiny suns—
spin around daffodil drums,
their laughter soft as pollen in the wind.

Drops of love,
like tears of spring,
fall from unseen hands,
glistening as they bless the moss.
Each one a promise:
you are held,
you are seen.

April rains wash the veil,
and the sky opens—
angels float by in robes of mist,
their wings as light as memory.
They do not speak,
they simply glow.
Their silence is a knowing.

And I float.
There is no weight here.
Only the hush
of breath and sky.

Even when my body aches,
my bones forget,
or the world grows too loud—
I return to this place.

I remember:
my heart holds peace.
My mind, a quiet sun.
My soul, untouched by storm.

I am the light that settles winds.
I am the calm beneath the noise.
I am whole,
even when forgotten.

Nothing can steal
what is made of love.

For I am light—
and light
cannot
be
undone.

A Space to Be
for "Where Love Begins"

Where wildflowers whisper secrets to the breeze,
And broken hearts find silence in the trees,
I build a place untouched by cruel goodbyes—
A space to weep, to rise, to realise.

Here, shadows soften in the morning dew,
And every scar glows with a gentle hue.
No mask, no need to shape what others see—
Just soul and soil, and sky, and me.

I place my pain like stones in sacred rings,
Let ravens guard it with their midnight wings.
My tears are prayers that feed the thirsty ground—
They do not drown me now—they make me sound.

In this space, where stillness lets me bloom,
Love doesn't rush, nor ache to fill a room.
It comes like mist on dawn’s forgiving sea—
Not to possess, but to set free.

So if you find me here, worn but divine,
Know I am not yours—this heart is mine.
And if you ever loved me, let me be—
I finally found a space to just be me.

As Spring Survived
When winter’s grip begins to fade,
Will death and grief release their hold?
Snowdrops stir beneath the frost—
A whisper soft, as spring unfolds.

The sun returns with golden breath,
Rebirth begins, and life rewakes.
Yet I am heavy in my grief—
A robin still with broken wings.

If time allows, I’ll find my feet,
And rise once more into the wind.
For even sorrow casts a shape
That lets the light slip softly in.

And though the path is slow and bare,
Each brave step carves a space for air.
I’ll breathe again the world I miss—
The tender ache, the warming kiss.

In March, beneath a gentler sky,
Spring will begin — and so shall I.
Sadness shrinking, fear grown still,
Scars softening beneath the hill.

And summer...
I cannot yet name it.
But I feel it —
Almost.

This version builds toward hope while pausing at the edge of it, leaving the reader suspended
Morning Star Jan 2023
On once the cold crip of winter ends
will death and grief subside
and hopefully snowdrops and tiny shoot will be as spring survived
sunshine will warm once more and rebirth if life begans
For in such grief I am as heavy as a Robin with broken wings
And if in time I can go steady
I'll lift into the wind
As life must cast a shadow
to show that in the dark
A glimpse of light is shining  will soon be bright once more
If holding on and walking through with slow brave step make
Will soon allow me breath and sight of life I hold so dear
Then in the sunshine soon in March
I'll see the spring begin
sadness will be smaller
fear a little less
of days that cut and scars still raw
Will be less painted far
More lightened strokes less chill The core
And summer sounds will sore

Back to your light
for “Where Love Begins”

It’s not your fault
they couldn’t see you—
the real you,
the gentle you,
the fire and the ache inside you.

Some hearts are too clouded
to recognize light
unless it burns them.
And you were never meant to set yourself on fire
just to be noticed.

You showed up,
open hands,
a voice full of kindness.
You waited in silence
for something soft to return.
But they looked through you—
as if love had no shape.

Their blindness
was never your reflection.
Their silence
was never your doing.
Their distance
wasn’t born from your lack.

When someone makes you feel
small in your own story—
that’s not love.
When your name lives
at the bottom of their list,
when your heart echoes
and no one comes—
that is your answer.

You don’t need to be told
why they couldn’t hold you.
Their hands were already full
of things that weren’t you.

And still—
you stayed long enough
to know it wasn’t about you.
You asked for truth
but got confusion.
You waited for care
and met indifference.

You were never asking for too much.
You were only asking the wrong person.

So let their absence be your peace.
Let their forgetfulness
remind you to remember yourself.
Let their unseeing
be the moment you finally see your own worth
without needing them to confirm it.

Some people are just not made
to carry the weight of real love—
but you are.
You always were.

And now,
you have all the closure you need—
not because they gave it,
but because you gave yourself permission
to stop waiting for what was never coming.

You deserved to be chosen.
And you still do.

🎵 Back to Your Light

Genre: Emotional Pop Ballad / Soft Acoustic
Tempo: Slow (65–70 BPM)
Mood: Reflective, healing, empowering

---

[Verse 1]
It’s not your fault they couldn’t see
The quiet fire beneath your peace
The way you give, the way you ache
The light you held they couldn’t take

Their hearts were cloudy, lost in smoke
Couldn’t feel you unless you broke
You showed up whole, with open hands
They never learned to understand

---

[Pre-Chorus]
And you waited there
For love to care
But silence came
And filled the air

---

[Chorus]
You were never too much
Just too true for the blind
You don’t need their touch
To go back to your light
Their absence, your peace
Their cold, your release
You don’t need their closure
To step into your shine

---

[Verse 2]
They looked right through, like love had none
Like all your warmth weighed more than some
But you weren’t wrong to hope they’d stay
You just loved right—
they looked away

You asked for truth, they gave you haze
You gave your heart, they gave a maze
But their forgetting says it all—
You rose again
and didn’t fall

---

[Pre-Chorus]
Now you see it clear
What wasn’t near
Was never yours
And never here

---

[Chorus]
You were never too much
Just too bright for the blind
You don’t need their love
To go back to your light
Their silence, your song
Their leaving made you strong
You don’t need their choosing
To know you still belong

---

[Bridge]
Some are not made
To hold love deep
But you were born
With roots that keep
You gave your all
But now you see—
What you deserve
Is choosing you
Completely

---

[Final Chorus]
You were never too much
Just too true for their fight
You don’t need their touch
To go back to your light
Their distance, your grace
Their void, your sacred space
You don’t need permission
To take back your life

---

[Outro – soft fade]
You were always enough
You still are tonight
Come back to your heart—
Come back to your light

Morning Star Dec 2020
By Morning Star – Dec 2020

The sky’s light burns
a crimson glow of pain—
Amen of all sin.
Nations sigh.

They look up
to who they once adored,
in sorrow—
Yet poppies,
they will all endure
tomorrow.

Tears of rain
fall from the heavens above,
Slowly filling rivers
with his blood.

Yet still,
the mighty
have not understood.

Silent,
in their shallow reverie.
Eyes are open,
yet still they do not see—

The simple love.
The peace
of humanity.

Cross blood sea.
Cross blood sea
This reads like a prayer for those lost and a warning for those who still choose power over peace. It’s compact, but deeply resonant.
Religious language ("Amen," "baptism") as contrast to violence

The symbol of the poppy as both remembrance and resilience

Nature (rain, rivers, sky) as witness to human brutality

A call for awakened compassion

Search inside, fall into sleep—
Visit before the endless deep.
Bright sunshine, a happy girl,
Tales swirl down the winding creek.

Know the nothing—fear the dark,
Remove the anger, shed the spark.
Wrap it up into a square,
Place it down and stamp it there.

Stamp the hell out of its face,
Open veins—knife plunged with grace.
They won’t breathe again—no more—
Take the essence, heal, restore.

Hold it tight, don’t leave at night,
Lead her heart to beach’s light.
Lie beneath the summer’s heat,
Let the waves make pain retreat.

Let tears fall, embrace like rain,
Hold each grain to soothe the pain.
Safe to trust yourself again—

Beauty in the Wood

By Morning Star – Nov 2022

The beauty that surrounds her—
The ****** and the dove.
Protection gently wraps her,
In circles made of love.

The little deer, she struggles,
Through thorn and tangled bush.
But soon the forest opens—
She scrambles
through the hush.

There is no fear,
only the light—
The moon will guide
her steps through night,

Until the morning comes once more,
And in its glow,
she’ll paint in words
what beauty lies in store.
The animal symbolism (****** = builder, dove = peace, deer = innocence/navigating fear) gives the piece emotional depth
Because I saw you
by Morning Star

I could have broken you,
the way you broke me.
Piece by piece,
with silence that stung
and truths you never deserved.
But I didn’t.

I held my hurt like glass—
sharp, delicate,
aching in my hands.
And I let it fall
only where it wouldn’t cut us both.

Because I saw you—
not the mask,
not the bravado,
but the hollowness behind it.
And I understood.
People hurt
when they’ve forgotten how to heal.
People leave
when they’ve already left themselves.

I broke.
Quietly.
Not all at once,
but slowly, like dawn
peeling night from the sky.
And in that breaking,
I found light.
Not in you.
Not in revenge.
But in me.

You see,
I don’t need to prove anything.
Not to someone
who couldn’t hold what was real.
I don’t scream,
I don’t chase,
I don’t fight shadows.

I rise.
And that is louder
than anything you ever said in silence.

Because the truth is,
you didn’t destroy me.
You revealed me.
And I am still standing—
brighter,
softer,
undeniably whole.

The sun's warmth a golden crisp of time
Melts the cold ice inside of you
No more broken winters bite
No more tears by candle light
No more burns of frost at night
No more chills the winds of fright
Only warmth if summers glow and song of birds
And trickle of the stream now flow
Gentle waters warm a fragile heart
Till strong a smile and eyes they see no dark
Yellow is now all that melts your day and ice cold blue it melts away.
Be happ free dont let the walls now climb
Only honey suckle light to gaze upon.
Open up a flower of new light
The spring still has a whisper in the night
Take a gentle brush its colours bright
On a new canvas now you write...

🎵 "Before Summer’s Take"
(Acoustic folk ballad – gentle fingerpicked guitar, 70–75 bpm)
Key: G major (capo 3rd fret if you want a higher, breezy tone)

[Verse 1]
Before summer’s touch,
Before golden light,
The ice I held inside
Would steal away the night.
But now the warmth begins,
And birds begin to sing—
The cold no longer wins,
And I can feel the spring.

[Verse 2]
No more winter’s bite,
No more candle tears,
No more frost that finds
The cracks from all those years.
Just the trickle of a stream,
A dream I thought was gone,
Now whispers back to me—
“Darling, carry on.”

[Chorus]
Let it shine, let it show,
Let your soft heart overflow.
Melt the blue, let colour stay,
Let your soul be bright today.
Breathe it in, don’t turn away—
Before summer takes
The dark away.

[Verse 3]
Gentle waters soothe,
Petals start to rise,
Even walls can bloom
Beneath new skies.
Paint it all in light—
A brushstroke at a time—
You’ve made it through the night,
And morning feels like mine.

[Chorus – repeat with more harmony]
Let it shine, let it show,
Let your soft heart overflow.
Melt the blue, let colour stay,
Let your soul be bright today.
Breathe it in, don’t turn away—
Before summer takes
The dark away.
Here is my poem “Before Summer’s Take” transformed into a gentle acoustic song, keeping the soft, healing tone—like something you'd sing barefoot in sunlight, windows open, after the long ache of winter.

By Morning Star
Style: Cinematic folk / emotional ballad
Tempo: Slow (60–70 bpm)
Key: A minor (sorrowful but hopeful)

---

[Verse 1]

Hope is all she holds tonight,
An everlasting, fragile light.
She learns to calm the storm inside—
Still tries to leave the pain behind.

---

[Verse 2]

No one sees her. No one can.
Everything is dark again.
But even in the blackest hour,
She dares to rise, she finds her power.

---

[Chorus] (soft, rising)

No way she's letting go—
This fight is hers to own.
She counts the swords of yesterday,
But they won’t steal today.
A knight may come, or may not be—
But she will be her own rescue, free.

[Verse 3]

She walks alone where shadows fall,
Yet holds her heart through it all.
No fairy tale, no shining steel—
Just scars that taught her how to feel.

---

[Chorus] (repeat, stronger)

No way she's letting go—
This fight is hers to own.
She counts the swords of yesterday,
But they won’t steal today.
A knight may come, or may not be—
But she will be her own rescue, free.

---

[Bridge] (whispered or instrumental)

You don't need saving,
You're the flame still blazing...
You don't need saving,
You're the one worth raising...

---

[Final Chorus] (gentle, fading)

No way she's letting go—
She’s stronger than they know.
She counts the swords of yesterday...
But she walks free today.
The knight was always there inside—
She never really had yo hide
Beautiful—“Behind” absolutely lends itself to a haunting, emotional folk or cinematic ballad. Below is your fully structured song version, shaped for a slow, expressive performance—either on piano, acoustic guitar, or cinematic background (like Florence Welch, Aurora, or Billie Marten).

Believe

by Morning Star

She has a dance, and sings it well,
Her voice a song where silence fell.
She shines her light through frozen hell,
And will not break, and will not dwell.

She turns her back on shadows tall,
She runs to hills where mists may fall.
She will not, shall not ever see
The depths of his depravity.

For she has warmth, and she has grace,
And friends who hold her in their place—
Who whisper truths and help her trust
That love is kind, and love is just.

She is safe and free from harm,
The storm will pass, the soul be calm.
Once more, the flowers start to bloom,
The gardens green beneath the moon.

She has a light that lights the way,
She is a star in darkened day.
She writes it happy, leads the flame,
She holds no shame, she speaks no blame.

For she belongs—yes, she is known—
To hearts that never leave alone.
And if she doubts, she need not fear—
They write her name, they draw her near.

Believe they’re there, both night and day,
Believe they care in quiet ways.
Believe your voice still has a place.
Believe—
you shine with endless grace.
Morning Star Jul 8
She dances where the veils are thin,
A song of stars upon her skin.
She weaves the night with silver thread,
And wakes the light where fear had bled.

She turns from shadows, vast and cold,
And runs to hills the ancients hold.
She dares not glance at dark unseen—
The cursed depths where hearts have been.

For she is wrapped in love’s old spell,
By kindred souls who know her well.
They circle her in sacred flame,
And whisper soft her secret name.

The garden blooms in dream-born hues,
The moon spills spells in midnight blues.
Her aura glows with guiding fire—
A star alight with soul’s desire.

So scribe your truth in rune and rhyme,
Across the winds, beyond all time.
For you are known in realms above—
Believe, you walk with those you love

🎶 “Believe” – Song Version

[Verse 1]
She has a dance, and sings it well
She shines her light in frozen hell
She turns from shadows tall and grey
And runs to mists that lead the way

[Chorus]
Believe—you're safe, you're strong
The night won’t last, the pain won’t stay long
You shine, you love, you rise above
You are held, you are enough

[Verse 2]
She cannot see the past so deep
But in her soul, the love will keep
With every bloom and rising moon
She heals herself and sings her tune

[Chorus]
Believe—you're brave, you're light
You belong to someone holding tight
You're not alone, you’re not the fall
You are the bloom that outlives it all

[Bridge]
Write it happy, lead the way
Be the star who makes the day
They are there, though far apart
Writing songs to heal your heart

[Final Chorus]
Believe—they care, they always will
Their love is quiet, deep, and still
You shine, you love, you rise above
You are seen.
You are enough.

Can Ever Speak

You took my crush, so small, so frail—
And said I’d never speak at all.
Let them see me as a freak—
To hell with you, to hell with them.

I will not speak, but not because I’m forced,
Not because I’m trapped inside your cause.
I choose this silence—freedom’s breath—
Because it breaks your chains, not death.

You took all that you could claim,
But now I’m free, beyond your game.
Not silenced by my fear or pain,
But by my will to break your reign.

Silence is my quiet throne,
Where I am sovereign, stand alone.
The universe will take its course,
And in its time, repay your force.

But unlike you, I won’t behold,
The ripping life, the darkness cold.
One day I’ll sleep, and in that peace,
Find rest where cruelty will cease.
Morning Star Jan 2019
So you take all crush so small
And Say never speak at all
Let them see me as a freak
To hell with u
To hell with them
I will never speak
But not because I'm forced
But because I choose
Because it's not yours
You took all u could
Now I'm free not because I'm silenced by fear
Not because I'm trapped in here
Because I choose to be free
Not speaking the truth
Sets me free
As now you cannot control me now
For silence is what consoles me
The universe can take care of you
As silence took care of me
But know this you twisted order
The universe with take care of you
As it has taken care of me
Time will take you too
But unlike you I won't want or need to watch
As it rips the life from you
One day I will sleep
You don't have to speak out or tell you just have to heal yourself

Carefree
I am a hare — soft, carefree, gentle, yet strong.
Mother Earth is my home, where I truly belong.
The moon is my closest ally, glowing pure and wise,
And the stars above, they know the truth behind my eyes.

The flowers in the meadow whisper songs to you,
While the stream flows softly down, veiled in morning dew.
The deer, so still, await the hush of dusk to wander through,
And the lake begins to shimmer in the sun’s warm hue.

If you open your eyes gently — not in rush, but trance —
You’ll see the hidden stories, woven at a glance.
The butterflies arrive, light as breath, in dance,
And all of life unfolds before you —
if you just give it a chance.
Morning Star Feb 2022
The castle walls stand tall and still
There's no way in
There's no way through
Kept the fall
Too deep the cript
Just till morning
Don't Run to it
Hold on just another night
Just till morning
Don't let it in
Morning Star Feb 2022
Was it chance or is it fate
Was I too early
Am I too late
If I go and spill the sword
It cannot return the wall
If I wait till all is gone aground
it's too late to carry on the break
How can I know if it's not shared
The fall I am not prepared
They would take me up for sure
And they would find me
Take once more
Not worth the chance to speak a word
But one a day voice will be heard
One day they will be buried gone
and then the truth comes undone
Then the lines can be written fast
The deer free
The meadow glass
As fire is gone and snow will come
One day you can walk on
One day you can write on the wall
But if you try to speak it now
you'll fall into a frozen hell
If they dont get you
Death will for sure
And your life will not be yours
So keep the river still
Keep the winter's chill
Stop the clouds from moving
And capture the sun
Untill the day you run
Untill your safe
Morning Star Nov 2016
I sat today i watched your way
Some so cold hurried away
A man asking for a pound
To buy his food or ride again
Men in smart clothes to work they dash
No time to sit or eat a snack
Ladies smiling others lurk
Little children looking up
Seeing adults mess it up
Beggars forraging for **** ends find what kind of life they walk behind
Street so full of every kind
Different spoken words so true
Arguments between a few
Lads in crowds having fun
Girls giggling while they run
A man stealing goods from shop
Running from the alarms no stops
People queing for the bus
Dropping paper cleaning mops
Police men walking taxi fares
People meeting others stares
Mindful people walking slow taking in the citys glow
Sad and lonely souls i see looking lost and cold not free
People of all nature here
One race called human kind
All together in my window
Free
Unaware of the picture i see
Old young short tall
Dark light strong small
A city full of people all
Full of love i see them all
Just a moment i sat today
Yet a life time of people i saw walk by
Amazing city now train i take
Back home to a lane a country gate
Total silence falls the night
From country to city a different life
I saw the poverty i saw the poetry
I saw the street painter
The flute being played
The rich the poor the lost the together
My day in the city
A moment to treasure
City of Human Kind

I sat today and watched your way—
Some so cold, hurried away.
A man asked for a pound to spare
To buy his food, to ride somewhere.

Men in suits dashed off to work,
No time to stop or share or smirk.
Ladies smiling, others lurk,
Little children looking up—
Seeing grown-ups mess it up.

Beggars foraging for ****-ends,
What kind of life is this, my friends?
A street so full of every kind,
Different tongues and troubled minds.

Arguments between a few,
Lads in crowds not thinking through,
Girls giggling as they run,
A man steals goods—then he’s gone.

People queuing for the bus,
Dropping papers, missing luck.
Policemen walking, taxis flash,
Strangers passing, brief eye clash.

Mindful people walking slow,
Taking in the city’s glow.
Sad and lonely souls I see,
Looking lost, and cold, not free.

[Chorus]
People of all kinds appear,
One race—called human—gathered here.
All together in my window frame,
Free,
Unaware they’re part of the same.

Old, young, short, tall,
Dark, light, strong, small—
A city full of people all.
And love?
I saw it in them all.

Just a moment I sat today,
Yet a lifetime walked my way.
Amazing city—now I take
The train back home, past river, lake.

Back to a lane, a country gate—
Total silence seals my fate.
From city heat to country night,
A different world, a softer light.

I saw the poverty.
I saw the poetry.
The street painter.
The flute’s soft song.
The rich, the poor, the right, the wrong.

Colour of Love
By Morning Star

I love him—though he may never know.
I walk beside him through places
we may never go.

I'm captivated by his voice,
The warmth behind his kind hello.
I love him—though he may never know.

I try to be there when he speaks,
Hoping that his love might grow.
But still, he may not truly see
How deep this quiet love can be.

I love his eyes—so warm, so true,
His tall, calm presence carries through.
His hands are kind, they bring no harm,
His smile—so soft, so full of charm.

I hold him close—so close, it aches,
Knowing he may never be mine to take.
But in the night, my dreams are free—
He comes to lie and speak with me.

He tells me then, with voice so near,
That I am loved—by one so dear.
And just to see him, now and then,
Can fill a lifetime
with what could have been.

But words escape—I cannot say
What might just make him turn away.
So I will love him from afar,
And wish upon a silent star.

I love him—always, and I will.
But he seems happy… and I stand still.
There's nothing more that I can do—
I just…
I just wish he knew.
"Colour of Love" is tender and aching—an intimate confession of silent, unreturned love. There’s vulnerability in every line, a quiet dignity in choosing to love from afar despite the heartache. It reads like a soft letter never sent, filled with longing and emotional truth.

Colours Burn
by Morning Star

Colours burn into my mind,
twisting, turning, open wide—
and rain, like heartbreak,
beats against the heart—
tears of years, torn apart.

I wait in silence,
hoping someone soon will come—
to hold the sword,
to bring the sun,
to drive the shadows far from here,
and lift me from this angry glare.

The hare runs swift beneath the trees,
low and light, beneath the breeze.
The deer lies still, too scared to move—
for hunters loom,
and swords pursue.

But the little one,
she dares to dream—
a dream to hush
the inner scream.
She reaches out
toward sacred light—
and in his glow,
she finds new life.

Yet anchors grip and pull her back,
as shadows press a cold attack.
Still, she fights, and braves the door,
though fear still whispers
more… and more.

The voice remains—
a ghost, a chill,
a broken spell
that haunts her still.

And no one comes,
and no one hears,
as storms crash through
the passing years.

Until—
she sees you.
And all is still.

Cript (Secrets & Shadows)

The castle holds its frozen breath—
a winter’s death wrapped in silence,
where steel-cold crypts whisper secrets
buried deep beneath the stones.

Dragons haunt the night’s cold edge,
their burning eyes slicing shadows—
but even their fire cannot melt
the frost clutching her fragile soul.

She waits, cloaked in silence,
eyes flickering with hidden fear.
His footsteps—soft yet deadly—
draw nearer through the bitter dark.
He hunts the shadows where she hides,
but she cannot hide what lingers in her stare.

He pulls her back to the glassy lake—
his touch colder than the depths below.
Words fall like shards of ice,
promises tangled in a ghostly thread.
She hears but cannot listen,
lost beneath a spell older than time.

At dawn, she vanishes—
drowned in secrets, swallowed by silence.
The lake’s surface hides her flight,
a prisoner to the restless curse.

When night falls again,
his voice rides the storm winds—
calling, searching, relentless.
But castle walls crumble against the dark.
Only dragons remain—
keepers of her fading hope.

She slips beneath shallow waters—
where danger breathes beneath the waves,
the lady of the lake,
bound to the shadows of a haunted wake
Morning Star Apr 2021
The ice cold castle winter's chill of death
Come cashing down
where winter's steel cold cript
Dragons make the night seem less cold
With fire of eyes and wings out swept
Looking out she awaits her fait
His steps now close
He gathers speed creates the fear slays the dragons she hides in shadows but he sees her there
Captivated by her loving stare
He takes her to the lake once more holds her but she does not feel his touch
Talks but she does not hear his love
In the morning he wakes she is gone into water deep she enters in
Captured by the tortured timeless spell
Untill the night fall once again she hears  his call but turns to shadows storm
Castle walls cannot hold her safe
Only dragons her hope now take.
Searching for the lady of the lake.
Shallow waters her escape

Scared to feel to let go
Another sound another voice
Ripped apart crimson rose
Total fear no control
Taken back
Hollow creek
Cave cold dark feet
******* in a twisted wind
A heavy presence starts to speak
Screaming silence claws the skin
Frozen stillness slices thin
The ice that grips your stolen ore
The fear of never finding land to grip
Surround a blanket colour full
Holds you tight by a fire warm the silence is not fear but a place to go no one is here
Safe to see a fires warm glow
Snow take the wind and takes the kick
Snow takes the crimson rose
Snow takes the Thorn snow takes the twisted thorn
Wake years away from here wake and live new life will appear

“Don’t Speak”

By Morning Star, April 2023

Step down,
deep stone
into holy ground.

A hunger,
a thirst—
you cannot explain.

Tight the rope,
sore the skin,
ripped in two—
a question mark.

Read the words
upon the page—
they burn
into the skin.

Broken candle,
rope,
and breath—
the whole of you
is bound.

The lights are dim.
Red candles flicker
on stone walls.

Be still.
Tight your eyes.
Don’t speak a word.
But read—
read with no delay.

Read the words
to the end of the book.
The pain will stop.
Your body, free.

But fear—
the fear of painful death—
still lingers
on the face.

Don’t speak a word.
Don’t shed a tear.
Don’t show
you cannot survive.

Be still.
Follow all the rules
of someone lying there.

Float—
up above,
into the air.

Puncture veins
with thread.

And once
the shadows disappear—
you’re safe.
Safe to return.

As long
as you are silent.

And never
speak
a word
You took my crush, so small, so frail
And said I’d never speak at all
Let them see me as a freak
To hell with you, to hell with them

I will not speak — but not because I’m forced
Not because I’m trapped inside your cause
I choose this silence — freedom’s breath
Because it breaks your chains, not death

You took all that you could claim
But now I’m free, beyond your game
Not silenced by my fear or pain
But by my will to break your reign

Silence is my quiet throne
Where I am sovereign, stand alone
The universe will take its course
And in its time, repay your force

But unlike you, I won’t behold
The ripping life, the darkness cold

One day I’ll sleep, and in that peace
Find rest where cruelty will cease

I feel so shaky i feel so hot
Its so so dark inside
A gripping knot that twists and turns
Inside my body the pain it burns
I cannot breath there is no air
A crushing pain i cant compare
I try to breath but theres no air like im drowning but no water there
Im so afraid i try to stand to reach for you to hold my hand
But if i do the shadows will come
I can not speak only be numb
Then ill be fine and ill be safe
No one can touch me if im not awake

Its easy to say let go
To just be free to just let go
For years i tried to stop the pain
The cold the ice the frozen rain
I'm trying now but there's no use
It just grabs hold so hard to lose
I wish I knew what I could do
I just need someone to pull me through
I try to part but it just claws me back
My heart is screaming out the rain
I'm lying here in storm all grey
The doors are closing stairs they fade
Cant push the mist the storm breaks through
Crashing waves and heavy seas
Just hold my hand
Just let me breathe
I don't know where to turn this night
All the fear be still the fright
If I let go i know ill fall
Straight back to the hell
Straight back to the storm
A part of me so brave so true
Not afraid of dark or ill
Just hold on for another day
See what hope sends your way
Just dont give in
Just stay strong tall
Don't leave to fight
Where u before
