Dad...

I do know I'm a terrible child
who doesn't know everything.

I do know I want to do what seems impossible
and probably won't get to it.

I do know who I am. Mostly.
I'll tell you one day.

I do know you care
even when our views oppose.

I hide away in my room everyday
because I'm not ready...
to tell you who I am,
who I want to be,
what I want to do
and where I want to see.

I feel like I'm living a lie
sometimes I want to die
or hurt myself until I feel like I am.
I'm not who I am.

I'll tell you one day. Hopefully soon.

This was going to be for fathers day but I couldn't bring myself to give it to my dad.

so much resentment in this place

using the weak as the prey
that’s where the world’s at?
suicide for being gay
starvation if you’re “fat”
