**It's killing me
Haunting. Burdensome.

Killing has become too easy and life has become too cheap. Many put the blame on an implement and not the person who wields it. Banning a thing never works as it causes it to be wanted more and enriches those who do not regard the law. The teaching of morality is our failure. The idea of civil discourse has been replaced with a selfish nature as the lesson of the day. Only when we accept that we are our own worst enemies and stop Blaming an object for our actions, will we begin to resolve our problems without violence and come to realize that guns aren't the problem.
Way up in the valley,
there were Diamond Hearts everywhere in its own place without
love,
peace,
magic,
wisdom
..
With Diamond Hearts in the valley,
It looks like your heart is a Diamond heart without no regrets, lies and secrets.

What if diamond hearts could be here in the valley hidden below the horizon,
When will diamond hearts be inside your soul forever.

Let the Diamond hearts in the universe shine in the valley,
With no more evil or wickedness
The Diamond Hearts will be  wonderful gifts for humanity.

Is the girl
I always wished I could be.

In reality,
I'm more
Like Hazel Grace Lancaster
Minus the cancer.

In the end,
I only want
To get out of this paper town
Come to terms with the fault in our stars
And the fact that I'll never find Alaska.

"Another day
And another mass shooting
In America"

When will we notice?
When will this be the headline:

"Another day
Since the last mass shooting
In the world"?

Hands brush against each other,
But dare not intertwine.
Their owners fear persecution,
So instead they choose to hide.

Eyes sparkle under sunlight,
Wide smiles sprawl across faces,
Lips quiver in loving desire,
But kissing is dangerous in these places.

A man bestows his husband with a present,
As they sit within a restaurant booth,
But all he can do is smile,
So onlookers won't know his heart's truth.

Under party lights, their arms intertwine,
Their eyes meet, their lips kiss.
They are surrounded by others,
Who only now can engage in this bliss.

They are free from judgement,
Free from danger, hearts soaring,
Lives molding together, passion flowing,
Love crying into the air, it is roaring.

Gunfire erupts, bodies are falling,
Safe places have become unsafe.
It seems we can not love freely,
No, not even in this place.
Rest in peace.

I've always found it bizzare
How people describe brutality
As animalistic

Did animals create
The nuclear missile
Showers of zyklon B
The middle passage
The inquisition
The gladiator games?

No, these horrors
Are purely man-made

This brutality
Is not animalistic
It is human.
