i wanna go places
people dream about

i wanna go places
people talk about
but never see

i wanna see those places
and then
talk and dream
       about them.

„Actions speak louder than words“

Words are your action
Which speak louder than any action
But not every action is silent
And not every word is loud
Which words will whisper
And what actions will scream
is for you to decide

All I really want is someone who admires me from afar as I pick a flower from the ground because it stood out in my eyes

four letters that can't take away the pain.
i am nothing but a voice aside from the ones in your head,
the ones telling you how small you are,
whispers in your ear,
they tell you you are worthless,
i tell you you are beautiful.
only you can choose who to believe.

stay.

the day you leave, your best friend will sit alone at the lunch table,
turning to the spot you once sat,
and their eyes will become wells of emptiness
a quiet sadness filling the place that you once were.
your best friend will start fading away, breaking into fragments,
and you have the nerve to leave them alone?
you say, the earth will keep turning,
but your best friend's world is crumbling more every day,
and soon it will fall apart completely.

because of you.

Uhm so this is my first post on here, because I got accepted like two days ago. I know I'm trash btw, and all of my poems are super long. Sorry.

Edgar Allan Poe
In visions of the dark night
I have dreamed of joy departed—
But a waking dream of life and light
  Hath left me broken-hearted.

Ah! what is not a dream by day
To him whose eyes are cast
On things around him with a ray
  Turned back upon the past?

That holy dream—that holy dream,
While all the world were chiding,
Hath cheered me as a lovely beam,
  A lonely spirit guiding.

What though that light, thro’ storm and night,
  So trembled from afar—
What could there be more purely bright
  In Truth’s day star?

Edgar Allan Poe
The noon's greygolden meshes make
All night a veil,
The shorelamps in the sleeping lake
Laburnum tendrils trail.

The sly reeds whisper to the night
A name-- her name-
And all my soul is a delight,
A swoon of shame.
