trance-and-dental work
sounds of silence seeping through the shutters
i am sheltered by your blessings
uncover the direction you are leaning into
inspect the floor and dust off the furniture
daily activities fit for a human being

i seethe with anger
at tigers who are guilty
of counting with their paws
streams of discomfort
split through the surroundings
factions of opposition with opposite resistances
defiant and undigested

like lightning they swallow the sky
and out comes the morning
drunken in its radiance
as a purple amphibian
waves you goodbye
move out of the way
of the daylight
you are blocking the rays
from falling on my face

a futuristic landscape awaits you
savoring the sounds and sights
return to the immediate sensations
as perception always wavers
and unremarkably favors
the unforeseen serenity
and dreaminess of yesterday
these soporific sanguines
add sulfur to the saline pools
while you insist on talking cold turkey
our addictions are absolute distractions
operating under the radar of our minds

i am thinking about everything you said
how you wished that you were somewhere else
with your soul strung out upon a ledge
a watchful eye inspects the beautiful bodies
an embarrassing moment
a kiss concealed
a solid hour wasted
serving all the shields
a solid longing
liberated by touch
a purposeful warning about drinking too much
a crush on your babysitter
or a stranger in the raw

words are in favor so please
come and let your heart soar
through clouds of blueberry pie
representations of our libido
and dreams about spies
gardening in the winter time
breaking through the earth
a tiny tomato
is tomorrow’s food
tempered by the truth
the hard earth and snow
the water and the fire
combine down below

to remove the covers of the canvas
the watering cans
the sacks of diamonds
wrapped in burlap
your soul is just as hard
and frozen like **** cherries
i bake them in the oven
a hundred degrees below
you are straight outta Compton
and away we must go
i long to touch your darkness
in romance and repose
a willing participant in the storm below
please ready yourself for diving
into waters of your mind
a poisonous fungi foraged in the wood
and so now where shall we grow

We are newly discovered obsidian daggers
Covered in obscene diamonds
We had a great time in our scabbards
Until your archaeologists came and found us
We are accents of rhythm
Extracted from a linguists’ worst nightmare
We are apparently humid if not quite human
Ruminating on our naked dysfunctions
We are content to being secret agents
Masters of arguments in surreptitious suspense
We are sweat and salt upon naked backs
That attract you like the golden hues of slumber
The ochre of the jungle is crisper than a hundred dollar bill
Life-force fueled by something new and leguminous
Quetzals bluer than a waterfall or the sky above an igloo
I chased you to the bottom of a cup of coffee
To overcome the fear of drowning in a melancholy mood

all in the way...
First you ply me with flirtatious smiles
Then you dry me with a towel
The mundane juxtaposes
With the profane quite nicely
Misguided tangents or misleading angels
Retrograde dancers hit the wall
As I fall at your feet for centuries
But you say you must leave me for the summer
I say come back and be my lawyer or my lover
It's all in the way we blame each other
For true hunger is always a holy rolling
Groundless spires
Of tremendous yearning
Turning inside out
Rolling around
On groundless foliage
We are nearsighted
A shirtless spectacle
These shadows are introverted
One word, one sentence
Is all you need
When the action is imminent
It is fiery indeed
Retired captains
And airline stewardesses
Diners and laundromats
Incense and artifacts
Green or orange socks
We match our articles
And sever particles from our souls
These overgrown undulations
Are apparently eager to be known

come and drink from springs of truth
otherwise you’ll remain obtuse
as hyperbole is often true
and mythos plays by its own rules
and only you can ever know
if you are truly satisfied
with your own arguments
and if not let's get on with it
i’ve spent a fortune reading books
i’ve lost time killing crooks
come and lets get high awhile
before the end is near
and even this goes out of style

who thinks that they are
someone who really

Dandelion prophets
by darknessʼ comet
i have sworn my heart to someone
and can never forget her face
in traces of music
invisible spirals
make their forms against the
waves of time
i am kindness
standing still
let me be
and i will never ****
fill my plate
with complicated thoughts
while you start another corporation
that must soon be bought
i am doing my best
protesting this mess
of lazy seers
lounging on chairs
dreaming of hairy mangers
in specific stages of liberation
the tattvas are barren
shared amongst our neighbors
smell their life force
pushing you towards a new course
the stream meanders like a drunken person
will we ever start spiralling again
and just as quickly love is grinning
winning
his armpits are living
his mind is thinning
spinning threads of rubber bands that expand like missiles
stardust treasure
dreams of weather
spells and incantations
untie the lover
go and kiss the misled sister
and become another dancer
her turban tightly tied
all the while she missed the fall
of humanity's derivations
i see sights and sounds are drifting
tired and frustrated the eloquence wanes
i keep my eyes on the page
burst out from my cage and unleash my rage
thanks for lifting my veils
so much sorrow and yet we still set sail
for another dawn
another day
understanding is the key
that unlocks your prison
you are shifting
sit still and listen
sing
for me
and for your heat
your words are lightning
grown in the sand
of human adornments
shadows upstage you
hunger assuages you
i am determined to come out
and streak naked through the grass
hunger at last for the kiss of death
the dominion of time
urgently cries out
so many houses are traded
for vacation homes
you revisit your tombstones
dollars spent on dandelions
repentance in the forest
your sentence structure wavers
and tapers off the frames
i am in love
gardening beautiful flowers
singing in the shower
the swift kiss of lips upon our mouth
go south
return to being hungry
so much sweetness
heaven is a teepee
for ever waiting to lick the frosting
hands are full but body is empty
mind is empty too
so much beauty inside of you
look out for traps that are set
by jealous women
how lonely are the lines
that we cut and paste
select the freshest flowers for the vase
a set of candles and diamond studded cutlery
gasp at the price
how sad that you were never informed of the pace
of this solitary rat race
ahead of time
remove sunglasses from your head
and turn and look in my direction
how i long to see your face
but i only see
a pair of desperate eyes
calling out for attention
never fear what you do not know
since we know not what to expect
have you came here with hands clean and feet free of neglect
several miles in the morning
on the beach she would run
while your hunger and your tigers
remain youthful in their slumber

intuitive indecision
Silence and shapeless images
Dancing naked on the edge of a sword
We are spinning our breath into meager sediments
And what’s left are my only relationships
Is this my retaliation against the blades of oblivion
Why must I always be eliminated right before illumination
Or the combustion of concrete symbols like carbon atoms
As if my soul was undergoing oxidation
It's unconscious really that the instant we need to be aware
We take a break from concentration and fall into silent reverie
A shining monotony as the moon
Lights the way to our observation towers
We are heavy as daylight and lonely as an empty windowsill
Whenever the sunlight shines luxuriously upon it
We are human beings doing but just barely used to using
Our unlimited and never-ending powers of imagination
If it's not elation that makes us escape our innocent privations
Then must we be immaculately nascent
Or veritably complacent and understated
In our jogging shoes and self effacement strategies
You have the blues and the reds too
The vibrations echo and they become your only decoration
Mellow and sedated we escape our approximations
By just getting a little more naked and familiar with our shadows
We shake our shoulders and shift our weight back towards the basics
As we get a little older we fold our best napkins in our pockets
And reposition the sockets and the clocks by our nightstands
To tell time just how we would like it to be
Exactly the way it was right before we died to ourselves
Are you understanding my odd way of speaking
Listening to the rhyming water as humid arias fall short of permutations
We are negotiating with contemplation’s namesake
Underlying visitations from our highest escalators
Concentrate and digest, we move forward
And caress the feathery fingers you have bared too often
We are clever and undefinable formulations
Monkeying around with the substrate of our eradication
I speak elated seances and fancy equations
Which underlie our negated vituperations
A Motley array of monkey business
Fizzles in the vaporous mist
It's an evaporative way of saying i love you
We are tender and tangential
We are offended by the examples you forget to administer
In your haste you restate the laziness of a piece of paper towel
To reply to your confessions
Underneath the premonitions you make
Is something that tastes quite a bit like logic

the unstruck chord

the sweat of the days labor
the ecstasy of savoring our good natures
beauty resides in chambers of the mind
i decline accepting favors from neighbors with grudges
and axes to grind
and sharpen my own knives against the silver blades of time
in snowfall the descent of vision is secondary to the suspension of gravity
and love has risen like reverse lightning
hungering for its return to the starry eyed sorcerers
selected from the mantle of antler wearing shamans
the nativity is blind as a blonde from Wisconsin
sonorous dulcimers depart for the auto-tune convention
sing your limits like you spring for chicken dinners
impossible symphonies, silent epiphanies
facsimiles of days spent wading through carpool lanes

different languages
Oh what an elegant tragedy we aspire to be.
So satisfy me with your mystery.
We speak different languages. A dialogue of impulse and similes.
Similar to the way you moved with purpose and attitude.
I was bound to attract your attention.
I recall the falling feathers of our fathers.
Like sand washed out to sea.
Bleak eternities spent in separate parts of reality.
Reality’s basements are being washed clean.
Flooded with water and covered with the dampness of feathers.
Feet rustling on the pavement. We beg for entertainment.
Company is coming over. To discuss plumbing and retirement.
Jumper cables upon your refrigerators.
I look into your eyes to deduce the algorithms for remembering.
Your blemishes are no longer rubbing me.
Your lungs were made for pumping oxygen and steam.
Yet we keep it airtight and dry. While aliens were coming for my eyes.
Your irises were dreaming of me. Meaning is always fleeting.
So I borrowed your compassion.
And danced on the Sun. You turned into a living goddess.
But you became just a memory to me. For freedom is never free.
It’s always drifting between sarcasm and sandwiches.
And it can never EVER be found on Reality TV.

neurodivergent
Blend all the elements
Including the oil and the salt
We are forming music in our mouths
And bucketing out our intuitions
We are frozen dancers masterfully
Balancing on our ageless appendages
Representing history is no easy gesture
It resembles splendor and spare apricots
Shared with our neighbors across fences
With our fingers we reach out
For our prejudices to touch gently
I am elegantly amused
At all your beautiful reductions
How were you so easily deconstructed
Into a web of beauty and butterflies
You may be used to this situation
But it's probably worth mentioning
That no matter how hard we try
We're all going to lose someone eventually
So let's play this time for keeps
Until we can ****** ourselves into letting go of everything
I fold my hands and return to the snow
Long ago from the stars beyond our reach
We inhaled and drew our first breath
From the heart of the darkness
We made our pledge that life
Shall always be a bargain against death
So now we take our chances
With some depth and determination
I am returning to my origins
Along the road to our sovereignty
I am as red as an active volcano
And we are bred to behave like family
In rows along the edges of our insanity
I digress and repress memory and emotion
So many are left and we don't know
Exactly where we’re going
So we collapse space into shapes
That are worth carefully observing
Let's blend our blood and our breath
And trust in the graceful scent of roses
We will make mistakes filled with yearning
Collecting learning like seashells
Along the shoreline of the morning
That we are born triumphantly blinded
As a reminder of neurological divergence

And then we'll travel on
By moonlight we will follow

And allow our candles to burn out

Come unraveled at the seams
Until we learn to speak in tongues

missionary sculptures and aid workers in poor lands
landed aristocracy, troubadours and minstrels
filter synthetic elements from non-essentials

for some its a cop out
for others a coping mechanism
for you it is a way of knowing you are sane
for love is a moment
a million miles wide and unfathomably deep
all of these analogies are cheap
and pointless
unless you feel the point
and hear the music of the chirping crickets
awakening while you sleep

the edge
plant a seed and watch it blossom
send a letter and watch it sprout
give a gift and take your bow
last night i dreamed you were in my bed
and now i am left waiting
for the edge of your love to cut me

lets turn around
and make sounds at the shadows
i drift upon love’s smokey tendrils
why can’t we garden in the winter
for love’s heart is too tender
her fingers bend and spiral
i am an eagle
and you are desire’s virtuous neglect
you remind me to breathe
for now i seek to reach you
and not teach you anything
ever again

i see you me
we were agitated
so we decided to dance
and then your hands touched mine
and so much time passed
before one could look the other in the eye
and in the eye i saw one color
one color dripping like a waterfall
a thousand doors
a thousand doors
opening
closing
practice sitting in silence
and surely you shall break free
of insincere eyelids
that wink at you
when you fall asleep

Where not a single soul,
Has the slightest clue,
As to who they truly are.

inertia i.e.
Inertia is always the last man standing. Its also the last person to leave the table and the last person that you say goodbye to at a party. Inertia never hurries and always arrives with a sense of gravity.

if our lines are aligned
If only she would come a little nearer
It's so complicated to relate to each other
These emotions we've hidden
Sometimes our feelings are as sweet as wine
And drums keep time with our inner rhythm
Breath is our mind
So we savor each moment
My heartbeat is reaching astronomic levels
You bless the elves that drown in your sorrows
Punch me in the gut
I am bending over backwards
To read between your lines
Residents and citizens of any delegation
To uphold our values we must first face our fears
These are truly those teachers
Of the darkest psychic orders
Of which you often hear us speak
Music is supportive for a number of unknown reasons
But are you really ready to be entrusted
With any of these sacred arrows, keys or codes
When your fantasies are still as ******
As whatever you are momentarily holding
In those perfumed ivory fingers
Which linger on our appendages
Long after we have removed them
In waves of ecstatic (embryo)genesis
Parthenogenic vibrations don't generally unfold
Nor do undulations of salubrious sound
Gyrating on your watery mounds of Venus
Necessarily cleanse us of our sediments
Still sentimental sandcastles escape from your mouth
As skyscrapers and shrouds of gossamer fabric
Are found to be loud like the wind
Yet remain neither visible to the eye
Nor palpable to touch
You begin to attune our souls to the beginning
As if the source of moisture
Is to be found only in our shadows
You are balancing on *******
While concrete still lingers in our ears
We are here and now quite beautiful
Yet bound to fall asleep over and over again
For what often seems like an eternity
Like real men and women
We will try to occupy these predicaments
And stand on solid ground
While letting our mouths water
Just a little at the sound
Of all the empty promises
That you're handing out

Here is a loving reminder:
I am proud of you tonight
So please continue shining
Your light on my unconsciousness
Illuminate my ignorance
And finish the job you have started
Because if not, we may never move beyond it

math problems
Our minds and bodies aligned with memory
history wavers against the odds
I sold my arms and burned my farm
and grieved for a million years of tyranny
Treasure chests in your necklace
set like rubies in a fire
Treat me lover like a muscle
and don’t be afraid to stretch me
You know how I struggle with atlases
and am challenged by arithmetic
balancing fractions out of fear
Still I hear you darling and know that I am near you
whenever the Doer of Nothing
(0) is given a chance to steer

fruitful deeds
i saw a trader the other day who stood out by the road
and in his basket he had many fruits and vegetables for sale
i spotted plantains and chayote
and asked how much they would cost
he held out his hand and waved to me
and said he wouldn’t take a penny
I asked him why this sudden spur of generosity
and he said not to worry
it was a gift from the heavens, truly
and it’d be best if i left off this inquiry

so i thanked him profusely
and said goodbye humbly
he just smiled and i could see his essence shining
he was more than a simple trader
he was truly a divine being
who had incarnated as a merchant
in order to disguise his fruitful deeds

nootropes in the tropics
standard tunes on the radio
the gramophones are outdated
so dust off your duvet covers
and dance naked for the daily
words are kept frozen in ice cube trays
spray my hands with cinnamon and honey
your rose water sprinkles my nose
and i feel a hundred years
younger than that old toad
sweep out the dining rooms
and follow the relics of the mind
in my time of loving
i will find a way to say i’m sorry
you combine memory with meaning
like stethoscopes trying to cope
with our swollen diameters
growing up is all about coming to terms
with our petty personalities and demeanor
nootropes in the new tropics
some are similar to the old radishes
codes and secret handshakes
shape the lakeside attractions
of parks and fairgrounds
as the storm rages beneath our stereos

undiscovered islands
its not for me to say but it is for you to decide
so do it swift before i cut my losses and run
love never hides but it does need fences to thrive
gardens are like headdresses for the earth
words are our old lovers that have gone silent
and these poems are lords of your undiscovered islands
as ladies of the dawn warm my fingers in their hands
i wonder why we couldn't dance for much longer

Porcelain people
she shone through our eyes
into the diamond sky
a light both subtle and quiet
yet bright as the full moon
at the dead of night
in vestibules of the mind
we keep our sights trained on the prizes
and often miss the surprises life has in store for us
bus rides through south american streets
alleyways and the insufferable heat
meet the other travelers in the space between
dirt and music
shirtless toothless
and ruthless
we alight
our insides
i am coming home
to my throne
i stole these words from moaning prophets
left with nothing but their bones
