I am the verdant greens
The bushes and the trees
As I am all that breathes
Here
There
And inbetween

I am the rodent's cowl
Its smallness and its fright
And, too, I am the wolf
Its howl and mighty bite

I am hidden beneath the dirt
My heart's beat leaves cities cleaved
And my furies
They ride the sky
Torrential force-
Tossed mortal beings

And when I choose to sleep
My greens turn white and brown
And when all I could was weep
The Seas themselves
First kissed the Ground

Take time to note

That they still are kissing now

I
Am at One
When mine
Is made
Many

My mind
You call "The Sun"
Light divine
And ever-ready

Wrath
Is not my name
Though
Of both
I do have plenty

For the sake
Of this moment

You may
Call me

The Unending
One million grains of Sand
Hitched a ride home from the beach

Hidden in the folds of my clothes
And from my locks, down to my feet

These one million grains of You
Just aren't enough memories

I heard your laugh in a dream last night
And was carried back out to sea
"You misrepresent me

In this piece

I don't see myself here"
You bare your teeth
At the thought
Of a crack
This dull
Malaise
Is droning
And ill

How many more
Minutes
Will you fill?

Paper
Is shredding
Thousands
Of cuts

How can you tell
When you've
Had enough?

Plenty
Many
Down
To one

Weighing

Debating

"Are my lessons done?"

~~~
A whisper
From the deepest
Ethers
In the hallows
Of your heart
Scoffs
"Are your lessons done?"
Inspired, in part, by Leonard Cohen's "Teachers"
Perfectly sweet
Enamoring treat
Affectionately
Conconcoted to please
Have a slice with tea-
Complimentary
Oh, my heart, she fleets
But thinking of thee
Brings shakes to my knees
Like none other seen
Eat up, and in glee
Return for serve three
Heard we were doing dessert themed acrostics, and I have a fondness for the cobbled peach lol
I am the beauty
That is my own
Just as I am the lens
~
Don't ask me how
These things I know
As I'd rather not pretend
