Grant me strength, speed and success,
Helping me to turn corners straight.

No one the day knows well enough
To the end--its smooth and rough.
Teach me thus in life the way to go
In the fast lanes and the slow.

Gay and green
tender boughs
blooming branches
fruitful vine
looking-down.

Comprehending the reward eternal also, haply?

It's an optical
Illusion,
Beholding infatuation
As affection--
Mental
Confusion.

As parallel lines
meet nay;
so is good and evil.

To every
glory
story,
shame
there's
behind
the curtain's
fame.

It's dragging along
Like an he-goat,
Life--pulled with a strong rope
By a butcher. Animal cruelty
Is like an existence of exigency.
Where now is the hope
For one sans meals, coat
And crib, with many a sad song?

With his upper-cut
released;
she lieth
abed,
sighing out.

When they *****,
we know;
their ****,
a top show.

They're never indigenous--
Ingenuity and genius,
Neither fortune
--
To anyone.

To its own hurt
it sweareth--
love--
and changeth
not.

To fall:
Just deck thy heart
in pride and arrogance.

It's either Elysium
Or Erebus,
When the die is
Cast.

God hath enemies,
Devil cronies;
Evil's beloved,
Good's disapproved
Of.

Nothing living--we're told--
In this life, won't grow old.

Fallen into an iniquity
like me?
Jesus
loveth us
still.

Death is no loss,
If life eternal is
Gained.

Empty to this earth
came we,
so shall we
depart.
