The hour before i sleep
I always think
Who knows what the night holds
When we were young
We believed stories untold.

I see shadows around
From where to they abound
I start to get scared
Are these shadows from the dead.

I finally fall asleep
Maybe with a dream or without
But i can say without doubt
That there's something about the night
That is out of sight.

From something small
Expected not to survive
You blossom
In no disguise

You become so beautiful
To everyone's surprise
While everyone waits
Patiently for your demise

But I'll always water you
And help you grow
As they say
You reap what you sow
