I know that insecurity isn't pretty,
*which is how I also know that I'm not beautiful
I don't even know. I saw a poem on how a lot of girls fake insecurity to ask for attention and I agree that it's wrong; but then I thought what about the girls who are actually insecure? So...yeah. Am I explaining myself right? No? Oh well, I almost never do.

13 days**
You are gone 13 days.
Still I can't bear the thought we have lost you.
It's unreal I can't believe it

I am hurt and these demons want me
to collapse.
If you were here you wouldn't let them
How can you be gone?
You are gone 13 days..
searching for a word
to describe my love for you
those words don't exist
I was at the beach earlier today.
During my time in the ocean, I noticed how all the waves were different.
(Obviously)
Each wave had a different effect on me.

Most hardly effected me.
Then there were the ones that would take me a few steps back.
One hit me rather hard, took some of my breath away.
Ah,
but the ones I remember, those would lift you up if you jumped with them. So high they would take you...but you know what the thing about letting something lift you is?
Most never stay with you. Most never continue holding you up.

   You fall.

The most comforting thing is this.
You get better at landing each time.
Maybe one day you won't have to fall.
One day you will stay up.

She stands elicited with fear
She holds a heart in her hands
So fragile, so loving
It's glorious

It's the most delicate thing she will ever hold.
He trusted her with it.
He handed it to her and said
/keep it safe/

So she did
She held her own heart in her left hand

And with her right
She took his heart and put it where hers used to be

He had his hands out for hers

But she was still holding onto it.
Holding on like you would
In the middle of a hurricane.
Holding on like death was at your door
And you were trying to sneak out the back
Holding on because
She was frightened

But she looked in those eyes
A sky full of blue
Full of hope and something she didn't know
And she held out her heart

But she was still frightened, still scared.
Afraid, afraid he'd throw it...

But,
He didn't.
He took it as careful as possible and put it where his used to be.

They had one another's hearts.
And for once,
Neither one of them were shattered.
