When you want to know when
it offends when you ask

Listen.
can you hear me floating?

I am sometime in somewhere
and where I don't know
don't want to be here
yet don't want to go.

can you only hear me when you're near me?

I can hear your breath hit the mirror
when I'm four thousand miles away.

Made up from these tiny things
tinsel and fairy wings
Christmas carols.

I can see it's all joined but
I can't find the seams
and if I stop looking?
do I miss what it means?

do dreams dream?
am I involved in revolving lives?

Then she drops me a line,
hi
how are you doing?
well
yeah,
okay I'm fine and
I can hear her
breathing there and the hair
she is brushing is the sound of
a rushing torrent.

I can hear her near sometime in
somewhere,
can you hear me floating?
There has to be madness for sanity to reign,

'do you need an ambulance?',
she asked him as he lay outside the bank
he replied,
'no thanks dear
I'm quite alright laying here'

the park was just across the road
it might as well have been in Cardiff.

The empty bottle told a tale
although
I couldn't read it well,
the time was one o-clock
and
the bell began to ring.

opened eyes
finally
those that refused to see
the rawness
saw things as
my gift my right
to take as I saw fit
ravage have enjoyment
at their expense
I looked up
then that day
at the immense world around
and lost my breath
felt alone
felt guilty
for all I had done
for what I
had thought even
sin is evil thinking
about the things I had
contemplated
satan was me
I feel now
I believe
that humans
are definitely
no god
god I quite
ask to show me
his face
I see rainbows
now
