Amitav Radiance
Don’t hide in the dark cave
Unable to move freely
The soul feels confined
Believe in love
To usher light of self-realization
One day, when I am a father
of at least a kid, or a couple rather
I would solemnly gather my little cubs
look 'em in the eye and so implore
O sweet ones, O young ones
dare to dream of lands unexplored
Be ever spellbound by the magic of books
pass on that knowlege to every corner and nook
Care not for other men's words
unless they speak the language of love
Pay no heed to the mongers of hate
let swift be your justice, but slow to judge
Be not swayed by men's divisive ways
let laughter and joy be your friend and such
Spread your wings and bellow a mighty roar
so the wicked may know that you can fly
That your mind brooks no dread or fear
far from the reach of their fingers sly
Above the highest clouds, above lakes clear
in the deepest troughs, and darkest caves
within your mind let rise a little haven
where wisdom for morrow you can save
Be so brave as to inspire the craven
be so kind as to give solace to the poor
Dream of stars and dappled nights
dream of plains and windswept moor
let the wise be your spiritual guides
let a kindred soul be your love, your life
love them so much that they feel truly alive
and when you both have your own child,
fill his eyes with dreams, and a love for life
Parenthood is just as magical as it is difficult.

Hey guys

I have found several Daily Poems from this site being shared externally with no acknowledgement to the rightful owner :(

Head over here....

http://thepoetryden.wordpress.com/author/thepoetryden/

and if you find your original work there then I highly encourage you ask this person to either a) link the poem back to your original or b) remove them from his site. He claims to be a poet and is misleading people by not putting original names/original links to the works he is posting!

Go through them carefully as the titles of the poems have been changed.

Please share this because I have read at least 3 poems from this site from 3 different people over there with no acknowledgement to the original author!

Update ~ Sept 6th 2014 ~ You are NOT going to believe this. I found Shane Linville on Facebook and you will never guess who is one of his favourites! Chris G Vaillancourt! That's right, the very same well known plagiarist from days gone by at HP. He was such an insidious piece of work

*******! Not the way I'd like to see my name next to a Daily Poem but getting the awareness out there is a nice thing too :)
Update... To those listed below with stolen poetry who can't access the link to the blog because its been made private you can still contact word press to advise them and they can check the blog to make sure it's been removed. His name is Shane Linville! I'm just sorry I didn't have time to go through everything he had posted :(
The link above contains the following stolen poetry (that I know so far)
Indifference by Purple Orchid is posted as Her Soul
The Bells of Civilizations Ring by Sjr1000 is posted as World of Disease
Morning Light by Silas is posted as Morning Light (no name change but no link to the original)
I am Stone by imadeitallup (no name change but no link to the original)
A Fool for You by MYstro mAdden posted as Your Love
These a just a few... If you know any of the above poets... please share with them

Poem Thief beware we are watching you.
You may steal our words, but you will not steal our resolve
There is another thing that you can not steal which is our Love and support for each other
You may think that you are invisible but you are not
Many eyes are watching you
What you think you do in silence could come to light in public someday
Just as good deeds become known, woe to the one doing bad deeds, someday they have to pay a very high price
I hope that if you read this, you will be nice and give proper credit to the Author's of the poems you stole
I also feel I should warn you that with every poem you steal, you might be losing a piece of your soul
It has come to my attention that someone has been stealing Poems of my friends on Hello Poetry and claiming them as their own and posting them on another site.

With a quill over paper
For muse, we are excavators
We pour out our hearts
So joy, love, peace to impart
To hold a torch over emotional darkness
To fill each others hollowness
Its for the love we write

When we write
We are called poets
A name fitting and right
But your theft just says you are mentally poor
Reducing you further to a mere thief
And nothing close to a P
Not to talk of a poet.

The moon is not a thing you can steal
Trust me its pure folly
That's a dumb idea to conceive
Posting others' poems
Posting like a poet?
Like seriously
How does that sound to 'your' hearing?
DUMB
Even so, to even dare, you must be too dumb to realize its dumb

To acknowledge is not so hard
Its just adding one more line on your pad
I want to deceive myself that you are not too dumb to know that
If you didn't know, now you do.

PS: You could post my poem
That does not make you a poet
It just makes you a thief
Suffice it to say, the worst kind
Without robbing me of the fact that I'm a POET

Borrowed thoughts fade away
Wrapped with someone else’s sentiments
It loses the unique essence
Impoverished souls foraging among treasures
Trying to survive on borrowed wealth

The walk along the streets of fame
Streetlights illuminating the night
Dazzles are but fleeting moments
Adulation of the crowds will wane
Looking through the dark glasses
To fend off the bright camera flashes
Offered the spotlight by bright lights
They will switch off during the day
Temporary embellishments will disappear
With ease walk the streets
Where fame is just not a stereotype

(a short description)

i am not that type of person
who listens at all
just a few voices my mind attunes
it's yours, most of the time

i am not that type of person
who listen even at you
the way you tell me
to go there, I won't be there

but

i am that type of person
who will only listen
if and only if, you tell me
**you'll be there, and I will
I was born with this talent of having to question my trust, even to myself.
