Inspector Fox felt emotionally blackmailed
his eyes blurred the first time in his life
the man cried pitifully to have the suspicion dispelled
there was motive for him to have killed his wife.

I picked her up almost from the street
you can call it love at first sight
whose fragrance in heart I always carried
showed me the way her love’s light.

If you ask if she was always faithful to me
she was and not a moment she left my side
laid herself bare and so happy were we
years passed like an endless joy ride.

Never ever, never once, I have to say
she set her eyes on any other man
happy as she was in my love all the way
as I was in my loveliest woman.

She loved not me but only my money
so would the tongues roll in mischief
how they envied that I was so lucky
our devotion to each other was beyond belief.

Behind me she slept with other men
I had to bear with many such gossip
two love doves we were crazily insane
our love was true and fathomless deep.

It hurt me Mr. Fox and I couldn’t take it anymore
those ******* spreading canards about her
so I started to love her more than before
and now must have killed her some jilted lover.

The inspector noted each word in his book
thanked him and got up to go
to give the note a good look
at home in his table lamp’s glow.

He read it once and then again and again
each line in isolation and with the rest
till he pieced together only the first lines
arrived at the confession cleverly crafted!

As we see the planet earth is embedded
within the solar system
though the other planets are his brother
moon is his lover
and the sun is his father
but his Atlantic still very thirsty,
not ever be satisfied
even today he seems insufficient light

Yesterday he wanted some water from Venus
but tonight he wishes to borrow light from moon
yet the sun is still emitting his light for his son,
even though the planet does not know
his bro Venus has not a single drop of water
and his dear moon has no light at all

Sometime we feel we need more though we have all. this thirst never meet our satisfaction though we need or not .............
Wake up, my friend, how long will you sleep
how long will you stand by as these monsters reap
the freedom of us bystanders not uttering a meep
as they wage these ****** wars and the bodies heap

How long before your heart is moved enough
to care for the victims of so called God's love
How long will it take for you to start seething
and take up the cause of ridding the world of Religion?

Do you not see the women treated like cows?
or the children murdered in the thousands?
what more evil has to happen in the world
before we start loving equally, the boy and the girl?

Where and when do we draw a line in the sand
when these holy wars have destroyed our lands?
or they have beheaded us all and cut our hands?
Perhaps when all freedom is buried in the sands?

Wake up to the evil that is religion
it binds, it cuts, it recruits by the legions
it tears through all that is lovely and pure
its time we stood up, and found a cure
Enough is enough. Let's get rid of the evil that is religion, and embrace spirituality if you must.

Wait
Hurry up!
No, you slow down
You were always faster than me, what has happened to you?
Things change
Catch up, I'll wait
Why don't you just go ahead?*
Because, my love,
We started this together,
And the finish-line without you,
Would just be my *finish

She does not know how she looks unless I picture her through my words....
unless she stares in my eyes, and my eyes traces her beauty...
If only mirrors weren't there, the world would have been sheer beautiful...
and the words would have gained a deference attention,
and stillness of water would have got more reflections...
and paintings would not have just smeared colors,
It would have textured the life...
Show not their thinnest trace
let the words wear a happy face
how harsh may be the day’s living
hide the tears and broken wing!

Write me one sunshine poem
for my day dwindling in burning flame
needs your ink to see me through
by words beaming with lights of you!
If I were ever to chance upon, a real life Genie
and being ever so kind, he granted me wishes freely
I wouldn't waste any time, and ask him quite loudly
'Give me a Flying Carpet, and make the sky cloudy!'

Astride my bed with wings, I would swiftly reach the sky
and dive through the clouds like through butter a hot knife
feeling the wind in my hair, laughing with unbridled glee
as a soaring eagle feels in the air, light, and free

Next I'd become a Lion, to roar and roam the jungles deep
Growling and tearing into poachers, and savoring the meat
I would rule all the mighty creatures, as their rightful king
and all the forest's denizens would my praises sing

Soon after I would ask for a ship, and a crew of souls brave
I would visit all lands afar, upon my Master of waves
without a single glance behind and not a spot of bother
I would see and feel and taste all the world has to offer

From above I'd go beneath, diving as a blue whale
The murky depths of the oceans whistling past my tail
All the wondrous sea dwellers, and all the buried wonders
would become a part of my enchanting under sea tale

Last of all I'd ask the genie, to build with his hand
a nation built for all the poor orphans of every land
where they eat and drink and make much merriment
and also study, play, and sleep with gladness in them
Magic, as alluring as it is impossible

Normal

The curtain falls, a veil between
Thinly drawn emotions, more than they seem.

Her hair falls to shade a radiant face,
I cannot scream in a hollow place.

He loves me true, he loves me not.
The stage lights up, I want his passion hot.

Or cold?
She fears this is getting old.

In likeness of a failing fight,
Fly then run, walking through a torn night.

"It's normal" I say to the soul in my eyes,
But I cry that night, but everyone cries.

I don't think he does, and so do you,
On top of all this I must watch my own heart too?

It's normal I tell her, but this lie I have loved isn't
I bleed from my heart.
I plead for my art.
Is it normal to crash down, feeling so distant?

This play put on by us in youth,
This show of passions, far from absolute truth.

The vapor pours from their thin lips,
The smoke clears, black gold cascading from her hips.

Is it normal to crawl against the wall?
To bite at the night and scream and call?

Call for his name to pierce the dark,
To open the curtain, to erase the mark.

Her windows, thrown wide, show the same play as me,
And shut they hold all of my fragility.

That night I fought my own skirmish hard,
That night fate dealt you a burning card.

Is it normal? This lavish dance?
These worrying minds in the vast expanse.
It may not be normal. Or maybe, it is...
Maybe our minds are just torn like his.
Sorry dear friend, I wish I could make it easier, I am taming my own heart too.
