If humans had no emotions,

poetry wouldn't have existed.
Cat and dog have found
They share so much common ground
World could learn from this.
Joy
cannot last
Few moments
contain
The unbridled
feeling
Euphoria
claims

Joy
but a transient
It comes
and it goes
Resetting
our wishes
To bask
— in its glow

(Dreamsleep: June, 2025)
Fear not little one
Everything in the darkness
Is found in the light

They say love hurts
mine kills me
stabs my heart
until I bleed

At dusk a half moon
In solitude she is whole
Sweet the path ahead
Modern heiku
theres a robin in my garden he comes to visit me
he is there to let me know my loved ones soul is free
watching over me from heaven up above
bringing me his message from the one i love

telling me my loved one is safe for evermore
high in the sky above where the angels soar
someday i will see.  my love again once more
tell her all about.  the robin that i saw.

the rift between
knowing someone
and
understanding someone
is only crossed with
the experience of
selfless intention
and
boundless love

within every word i speak
you listen out of selfish intention
seeking confirmation that
the person you have conjured me to be
before even truly trying to see me
is really who i am.
you seek the validation of your own bias.
