O lord, thy slaughtered guardians
Were brutally killed,
Killed with hundreds of bullets
Fallen to their valiant faces.
They were viciously injured;
Their bodies were struck with bullion slugs.
They sacrificed their life
To protect thy people and thy nation
For a peace that remains a dream
Can never be achieved with a piece of paper and a piece of pen.
The firmament cries with grief,
Their mournful wives, broods, father, mother, siblings and comrades will no longer hear them talk,
And see their precious smiles.
They can never listen to them again saying “Yes sir” and witness the glimpse of their valuable salute.
O lord, defend thy guardians and give them shelter
For they fought and have fallen.
Raise them with your caring hands and heal their wounds from war.
Give them rest in thy kingdom where they can find everlasting peace and love.
Bestow upon their dear ones the acceptance and forgiveness
For them to eliminate the excruciating pain of losing,
And find the importance of life and the thousand reasons to live,
And discover hope in spite of anguish and heartaches.
O lord, let them know that peace is found within you
And wars and chaos will never end if someone hides in the shades of darkness.

I look up and I see you
Rising,
Glowing,
Smiling.

I walk on and I feel you
Shining,
Warming,
Caring.

I hide away and I watch you
Radiating,
Persisting,
Supporting.

I promise I won't
ever
take you for granted.

There are levels in the sky,
where the clouds come sliding by,
and the sun is bursting through
with rays ablaze upon our eyes

There are levels in the ground,
where the mountains hold the towns,
and tears of storms' past fury shine
in serenity they have found

There are levels in the sea,
where the days are memories,
and waves that wrestle with the shore
toss our spray into the breeze
We can only be who we are, and we are only just as strong as we choose to be. We can grow in strength, wisdom and love, but we need first to be willing to do so.

The lights suddenly glimmered,
And all the faces shone,
All the beauty appeared,
In all directions.

But there was one corner,
Where the darkness still remained,
And the shadows of people,
Hid the corner more,
And with it, a person,
Slouched against the wall,
Stood there behind the shadows,
Giving up to stay tall.

No one saw her,
But she saw everything,
The lady in the fur,
Was talking stuff about her,
She tried to reach out for the lady,
But her skin burnt,
The moment she stepped out,
Of her corner.

Wasn't ignorance enough for her?
Or does she still have to stay in the shade?

Everyone passed beside her,
But no one noticed the thin shape,
Struggling to get out,
Get out of the gloom,
She lives in.

The lights went out,
And everything reappeared,
Clearer than ever,
And they finally noticed,
The blood that smeared,
Out of her heart,
They finnaly noticed all the wounds,
But like always,
When the lights came up again,
They just turned away,
And walked back in their path.
