He was as pale as someone dead;
He stayed silent and showed no breath.
He moved not as our eyes met;
He looked startled, tired, and mad.

He was like a dead child unborn;
A child of night; yet a corpse of morn.
He turns all wild after sunset;
He rarely sleeps; nor lies in bed.

How could I fall in love with him?
For he is mute as how death seems;
He is mean and emotionless;
He is inhuman and soulless.

For he has done lots of mischief;
He knows not even why to live.
Though his face looks bare and naive;
And his red mouth, voiceless and stiff.

For he has not tears nor feelings;
Smiles not at kindness nor givings.
He is deceitful and selfish;
He is boastful and coquettish.

For he may have had 'nother girl;
With whom he sings and dances and swirls.
She must be than me prettier;
And thus fairer, and lovelier.

Weird for I love him even more;
More than I praise this earth's dear Lord.
He owns all the might of my soul;
He fills my charm; he makes my whole.

Fear

What is your fear—that you are not
beautiful?
The valley's are jealous, my true.

The story is truer than you will
not know,
trailing roots in the rivers of snow.

The patterns of sand the Sahara
makes by hand
can't grasp your vexing shape.

And it is your heart I so found in
the dark,
nestled stark in the moss of a cave.

What is your fear—that they will not
love you?
Be patient once more, my sky.

The moon will deceive you to thinking
that so,
but—listen, my love—not I.

Life is a *****,
You'll learn this in a glitch,
No one to trust,
Most love is outta lust,
We all come from the same,
Everything equals pain,
No one for what's right,
All we ever do is fight,
In the in end,
Voices full of sin,
Do what you must,
Death spawns from us,
Only sadness in the end,
No one will win,
Yet life goes on,
But no one knows how long.

Sky Kanvass

Deep down inside, I have this feeling
Trouble lies behind those eyes
Do you need me to change my ways
For our dialogue to stay open?

Deep down inside, I have this feeling
Desire plays within your mind
Do you need to float on another cloud?
Seems you're writing your thoughts in the sky

Refrain:
Perhaps there's no place big enough for you
You crave more space, our kanvass is too small
So, I'm lying here on the floor
See your thinking bounce off the walls
Hoping you're still my true friend.....

(an older song...of erstwhile years)

Can one stay friends..even as we change and grow?
Can true friends accept and embrace the things that the years teach us?
No-one really stays the same...we can't! lol

The only thing which remains constant, other than death...is CHANGE, not so?

Just 'cos we're adults, doesn't mean we've stopped growing: sure, physically maybe...but, other spheres of growth...

What was that cool saying I read somewhere:
'If you were born without wings, do nothing to prevent their growing.'
                                                                                                  - Coco Chanel

sub-entry:

'letting grow'

1.
love the giddying feeling
of the merry-go-round, yes.

love dancing
to that disco beat, yes.

love going out
and doing things, yes.

2.
then, there comes a time
when we least expect,
yet need most of all:
a powerful lesson to learn.

3.
love isn't really about letting go
...growing up ain't about being so serioso, **** it!

it's simple:
merely allow space for...letting grow,
ohhh yeah!

"It's over," you insist.
But we're not really finished yet-
Darling, you are my last cigarette...
Well, maybe just one more...

do i love her?
no.

her eyes,
as deep as the ocean
as vibrant as the light
a hint of sadness
i just want her to be alright.

do i love her?
maybe.

her smile,
is covered in braces
that are as blue as her eyes.
i can see right through
her smiling lies.

do i love her?
i do.

her,
she smells perfect like flowers,
i could kiss those perfect lips,
for hours.
her beautiful laugh,
fills the room with joy.
she's perfectly terrible at math,
i get to help her.

do i love her?
i must.
