Ridicule me all you want,
Because I know you don't understand.

In all the vastness of the sea of stars we are all alone
The cold and barren winter valley
Is our only home
I travelled far across dunes of sand

We found each other, two of a kind

The wind still caresses my now weary face
Same wind that carries sand, snow, and sets seas adrift
Harsh gale or a soft breeze grace
It makes me feel again all I missed.

The blood drips from her hand
It seeps into the depths of the page
Soaking like ink the runs red and
Dulling cold with emotionless rage.

A young soul tortured old
She lets it bleed without care
Quivering hand, fingers unfold
Written all, she rests back to chair.

A midnight chime, days have cross'd
Same words of mine, "I loved and lost!"


         I've pondered in dark twilight hours
         What has been written on the page
         But unlike the falling, wilted flowers
         The passionless words never age.

You've made yourself distant
Still, what I feel is no different.

But I cannot change what you chose
You've flown your path scarlet lark
Followed moonlight as the sun rose
And I'm still preaching to the dark.

The echo of your fleeting song now tears me apart
The song that gave life to my broken heart.

Forever, will my cries be in your name
Following the melody of your soul
Because from the shadow of you I came
And a return is inevitable to lecherous roles.

And when we meet again at the crossroads later in life
Looking at one another in awe of the scars of our strife
Unrecognizable from the innocence we once reflected in one another
We cannot go back to those sweet youthful days of our past
They will remain the longing echo of our footsteps as we walk on
Away from each other, best friend.

The temptation within your eyes
The calming silence when the world stands still
Frozen in the perfection around you
White snow fallen, on Violet Hill

When you are finally taken from the cares of the world
And sorrow of the mundane resumes it's course
I will live in your shadow forevermore
Living in days of longing remorse

Because of you I'll never let it die
My passion for what lies within your eyes:
My everlasting paradise

Cold, and alone,
I realize I'm insignificant
I realize that all I do is worthless if in the end we all turn to dust
I realize that my existence is nothing more than that
And that, it shall be forevermore
Because it is that, the reasonless existence that consumes us all
And nothing more,
Not the tides of the sea, nor the void of space, nor the Godless heavens, nor the wars of petty dominance of the world;

It is that there is no reason.

And i've gone insane at the thought,
And the helplessness that it brings
I have not a life, but and existence
And an observation that remains unseen to others until, now,
And it's a shame when you have been made aware of all that exists
And you realize that it is all for not, and nothing more.
