When my sight grows dim
When my grasp on life is weak
Will you then forgive?
Before I met my wife
I was incomplete
Now I'm finished.
The sky was so grey and
The clouds lingered all day
And no sunshine today and
Our hearts stayed so bright
In the soft silver light and
Finding joy in the shades on display.
All Grey
Writing poetry
My mind leaks onto paper
Lovely visual!

My younger self would
love that I watch the movies
she did too, back then.
Twilight on rainy days, unashamed.
Dance to my own tune
By light of many a moon
As the old ones croon.
The darkness is split
The glow of my cigarette,
casts an eerie light.

it’s sad to say
that nowadays
a smile
is more often
used
to hide depression
rather than
express
happiness.
He asks for my hand
I tell him that I need it
He is not amused
