Every single time I am
screamed at and gotten
rid,
I am enraged and I don't
even know what I
Did.
(What do you want from me?)
There's a joker inside
a jumbled girl
dreaming of rebirth
by night she's gone
the morning brings her back

If she could step towards the light
vision running wild
hide in the radiance
her battered face
smiling and shouting loud
she'd listen and wait
for the calling voice
find the balance
before the fall
not blind-sighted
never banished from home......

*I step towards towards the light
imagination fades
vision runs wild
I hide in the light
my battered face smiles
shouting loud
and I thought you said you loved me....
I want to live close to nature.
Green top trees, white - blue ravense.
I want to live close to life.
Wandering free as we used to be.
I want to live close to death
For it may know I'm not afraid and it won't stop me from doing what I love doing.
Living close to nature, and all its dwellings, all its moods and all its glory.
I write all my poems, if you would like to use them, I ask that you ask my permission or at least inform me.
that is the least you could do.
Thank you.
When all the dust has blown
By all the rust be grown
Change the scene for once more;
Leaf in the wind, and spore.

An infinitesimal seed
So hapless and inconceivable,
That emptiness of heart
Germinates of a green new start.

A negligible bacterium
To the unforeseen eye
Effervesce, bloom and spume!
Company will soon greet you!

O embrace the sobering ground,
'Tis here just like you found.
All the resources will draw nigh,
'Twas in you all this time!

All need words of encouragement,
Some protein and enzyme.
Rest, reactants, in thy calm tent,
Get some shut eye to see rhyme.

But ever haunted of the past
Should the even'n empire return(1)
See a world in a grain of sand(2),
But never Heaven on this land.

Lo the booms and the busts!
Lo expansions and recessions!
Lo the mad and the sad!
Lo multitudes and solitudes!

O humanity I love you!(3)
How generations trapp'd
That live in cells within, imbued
To so idly stay rapt.

But to their good fortune, adapt!
You shall be absolved
Walking with peace as every stepp'd(4),
The diplomat endow'd

Alas! A new variety!
With such resilience
In ev'ry zone, ev'ry climate
Here to live, here to please!
1: "the evening empire" from Bob Dylan's Tambourine Man
2: "a world in a grain of sand" from William Blake's To See A World...
3: "humanity I love you" from E.E. Cummings Humanity I Love You
4: "walking with peace as every stepped" from Thich Nhat Hanh's Touching Peace, or any other works.

This was written under the influence of Walt Whitman, and is a collage of many ideas, original and rephrased.
Didn’t we stand there then,
black tuxedo, white dress.
when the world seemed so small?
And oh, the innocence of ours.
The blue, soothing sky love in our eyes
and in our hearts.

And weren’t we tender,
and awed and scared;
knowing we were stepping from the room of desire
into a lifetime of love?

And wasn’t it holy, the sweetness of our way?
And were we not simply lovely then?
Were we not as lovely as the white gardenias,
as the moonlit night, as damp grass on our bare feet?

I think so.

I sit behind a computer screen waiting for a reply
-When will it come-
I sit behind a computer screen typing to the unknown
-Will he answer me-
I sit behind a computer screen watching words appear
-Why is he saying this-
I sit behind a computer screen crying as the screen goes black
-Why me-

I sit behind a phone screen waiting for a reply
-Pick up please-
I sit behind a phone screen typing into the unknown
-Where are you-
I sit behind a phone screen watching words appear
-Why is she talking like this-
I sit behind a phone screen crying as the screen goes black
-Why did she not listen to me-

I lay under the clouds as it whispers to me
-They don't understand-
I lay under the clouds as whispers turn to talking
-They don't love you-
I lay under the clouds as talking turns to screams
-They want you dead-
I lay under the clouds as the silence takes me over
-You know what to do-

I sit at the edge of my bed staring at nothing
-Soon, do it soon-
I sit at the edge of my bed tears flow down my face
-Your so close-
I sit at the edge of my bed staring at the floor
-Put it close to your arm-
I sit at the edge of my bed staring at the ceiling
-Make the motion-
I sit at the edge of my bed watching the world go black
-Good keep going-
I sit at the edge of my bed
-Goodnight-
