My kinda strange is as pure as it is *****
It is a kind of lust and love in perfect greys of checkerboard black and whites
It is moonlight in a bottle and sunshine hidden in a kiss
Its hopeless to the sounds of nothings sweet and desperate to feel the teeth of dark passions moan
Its holding hands under a fort of blankets and pillows while reading a classic tale from childhood long ago
And secretly having eachother in the middle of a crowd during the roar of a live show
Its the magic found in sharing shy kisses years into being in love and the leaving of reckless marks and scars in flesh and dreams of a first night
And I can see my kinda strange dancing inbetween the colors of your eyes and beneath the tattoos on the surface of your skin
And if you step into this madness with me we can do anything that we have ever dreamed
And get lost in a bottle of monlight while sharing kisses that burn with the fury of the sun
Where we do nothing but strange in the name of love

Carpe Diem
Let us treasure today
We are not promised tomorrow
Let us seize the day: Carpe Diem

Let us dance like there is no tomorrow
Let us do things today instead of
putting it off until tomorrow
Let us cherish the moment
before it rushes away
Let us seize the day: Carpe Diem

Let us tell our family we love them
Let us call our friends and tell them too
Let us create some memories
and write them down
Let us not take things for granted
Let us not waste today
Let us seize the day: Carpe Diem
My friends, Carpe Diem

I want to Seize the day and express how much I care for all of you <3 You touch my heart and put a smile on my face. I am so blessed to call you fellow poets and friends too!!!!

Gidgette
He bartered for the remnants of my soul with his blue eyes and quick wit
Slashed skin for a sinful grin
As though my seared flesh weren't enough
And his wicked tongue lapped at my inner being
a kitten with milk
He said he liked the cobwebs in place of my locks and offered butterfly wings for my lashes
Sack of diamonds for a soul
Replacing hearts with coal dust and glowing embers
straight from the hell in which he belonged
And I dwelt
He stood agasp when I took the offer and all he held was single piece of dead, dried, flower petal~A

Dark n Beautiful
I shall build my bathroom vanity to suit my person needs
In a marble glossy white strip featuring tea leaves
Where the sunset would lift my morning moods
As I quietly sit on the toilet with the latest Bluetooth

I shall lie on my high pillow top bed
And listen to the sound of the larks
While the wild baby monkey sits on the ledge
Where tiny soldiers of marching ant crawl in the dark

I shall refreshed my house with Natural Aromatherapy Incense
        Just to keep evil away,
and in addition keeping the blessing in
While broods of Dominique hen cackling makes a loud annoying song

In the year two thousand forty-two, I will represent
As for now, I am planning and waiting for my long awaited retirement

Feeling so worn out:

Scott F Hemingway
A mood hasten the dew
here that could beat sadness
with a line in its circumference
that joins like a tangent yet
might appear like an axis
but profane as new moon
that sometimes was shone there
discreetly above the equator
and dIrectly by supreme
known its horizon forever now
when blue skies are subterfuge
if only irony doubt here
this dissonant antipathy reign
today jive in rhyme again.

I've saved you once
Yet i wouldn't say it
You may not remember
But i would
You may forget me &
I may forgot your name
Still the deed was done
& the vibrant effects
Lingering like it was yesterday
I'll always remember.

About a good deed we may forgot, but sometimes it lingers, an essential good nature you always have in your heart.

You say in order to
move forward,
I must comply
with your said,
way.

Yet it is not a matter of forward love,
or that I MUST ever stay,
we are both moving forward,
it always seems the way,
as I am sure the sun
will shine so bright that day,

The day you take my hand
and we step into the sea,
where you crash
with me the waves,
and then suddenly we're free,
just take my hand-
my soul,
please come with me and be,
I am the mirror to your soul
just look and you will see

Though it is up to you -
my love,
together or alone,
how we travel on ahead
solus or as one,
I am yours eternalized,
beyond my body dead.

I have never been without it
The scent of regret surrounds me
Every mistake I ever made
Is the stench that so confounds me

Soaring heights of anxiety
I have never been without it
Not your garden variety
Plaguing much of society

How I long to be free of it
Unrelenting regret believed
I have never been without it
Dry heaving nightmares unrelieved

Trichinosis, lockjaw strangles
My regret knows all about it
Like Joe Btfsplk’s* cloud dangles
I have never been without it
Trying the French quatern form, a 4 x 4 w/ #8 syllables, w/ the 1st line repeated in each verse the way it is done here; no rules about rhyming.
*Al Capp's character w/ a perpetual cloud over his head used to fascinate me as a kid-anyone else remember him-a sad sack with no vowels in his name?
