Arcassin B
By Arcassin Burnham

Please,
Could you take me away from here, I need a s.o.s.
Stay,
I need a place to satisfy me, my love could you try me.
Pacing different places aligning with different faces
Pertaining to me saying this is not my pure Oasis,
Could you find me in this simulation lingering from the stages,
Of a dark mental psychosis that I'm learning in these pages,
Peace ain't far away.

Stay with me and I'll take you to the wonderland,
Peace ain't far away.
Jump down the rabbit hole,
The aces will unfold,
Peace ain't far away...

Don't you ever let the pieces fall,
Don't you regret it all,
Peace ain't far away in these Halls,
Pacing different places aligned with different faces,
Just like your ex's, do you regret them all?..

Stay with me and I'll take you to the wonderland,
Peace ain't far away.
Jump down the rabbit hole,
The aces will unfold,
Peace ain't far away.

There are glory and victory in every battles
Yet there are more bleeding and suffering
Glory doesn’t bring back the dead to the living
Victory heals neither scars nor wound, let alone fixing the broken ribs

There are villains and heroines in every war
Yet there are more desolation and devastation
Villains are written in history by the side who wins
Heroines are what they call themselves after slaughtering the innocent

There are rebellion and revolution in every regime
Yet there are more poverty and misery
Rebellion is done by fewer people against jeopardy
Revolution is an act of people power against oppresive authority

most of us are lonely
often our pools are too deep and
no one seem to bother swimming in our depths
perhaps it takes a skilled diver to understand
our inner core.

and because we feel too much
we drown ourselves in the pool of
sorrows, dying in self pity.
My emotions are a weather vane
Something my hubby knows
I laugh, I cry, I live, I  ‘die'
Whichever the way life blows.

I drown myself in salty tears
I sink to the ocean’s floor
Then I rise and build a boat
And row myself to shore.

I’m living in a hostile place
That wants to fry my bones
But I have Air and Water there
So you will hear no moans.

I take that back - there will be moans
Because that’s what I do
I weep and wail to no avail
And then I muddle through.

My pen lives in the shadows
While my life lives in the sun
Trust my perseverance
Until this race is run.

A silly scribble that was fun to write.

My only comfort as my tears fall with the water
Is the fact that I'm scrubbing away his hands,
His touch,
His lips,
His skin.
Washcloth against skin,
Red erupts from my pores,
But I don't care because
I need to get his scent off of me.
Just a whiff, and I gag,
My tears congealing in my throat.
Why me?
What did I do?
His hands were so soft,
But so strong, and
I could not escape.
Washcloth against skin,
I don't even know where to begin,
For he stripped me down to the very bone
And lay my soul and body naked.
His fault? Yes.
My fault? They'll think so.
Red flows down my legs because of
Washcloth against skin.
I drown myself in cherry blossom body wash,
The off brand kind.
My last thought before I stop the water is
"But I'm not even pretty."
A poem for all of those who are victims of ****** assault, whether male or female.  You are all survivors <3

an American revolutionary war phrase, "Don't Tread ON ME," positioned below the rattlesnake is a warning that reflects the basic principle of individual FREEDOM!
If hatred was a pencil, I’d write your name and address on the subscription form in every magazing in the world and mail them in.

If hatred was a marker, I’d write a rude comment and sign your name on every wall in town.

If hatred was a telephone I’d autodial your number a hundred times both day and night.

If hatred was a needle, I’d poke it into every VooDoo dolly I could find.

If hatred was a letter, I’d threaten every elected official with a grave injury and sign your name.

If hatred was a song I’d play it at 180 DBs in your back yard, twenty-four-seven.

If hatred was your Cadillac I’d key it til the last shred of it’s paint was gone.

If hatred was a poison, which it is, I must research an antidote...

It seems my hatred’s really killing the one that I love best -  and that is me.

See the unseen, even when it's poignant
even when it feels like your eyeballs will drop out of your skull
and you cry blood instead of tears

Speak the unspoken, even when it's bitter
even when it feels like the tongue will slip out of your mouth
and you spit blood instead of saliva

Fight the invincible, even when it's exhausting
even when it feels like your arms will be torn apart
and you shed blood instead of sweat

Seek the unknown, even when it's dangerous
even when it feels like your bet your life on shooting star
and you are drowned in blood instead of ocean
because the truth is, none of us is ever a damsel in distress—as no one is able to save us but ourselves
