bones
Free flow the waters
of the river passing by,
though we thought
we'd caught her sleeping
when we heard their lullaby,
and though
with a thousand bridges
we bound her where she lay
still her waters pass like lifetimes
and we watch them slip away.

Antiquity Vaircome
Your skin is softer than silk
Your hair shines like the midday sun
And gazing into your periwinkle eyes
I know that you are the one

One night you finally invite me
Into the place you call home
I shiver with anticipation
As I brush and scrub and comb

But there are bones shoved under the doormat
And blood dripping down from the stair
What horrors I find that night
As I venture into your lair

There are legs hung in your kitchen
Fingers on the dining table
Forever watching eyes on the fireplace
Like some grisly fable

But that is not the worst
Of the torment I endure tonight
As I turn to run from you
You take away my light

There's a knife in my side
As you drag me, so strong
You rip and tear and consume my hide
Until my life is ended like a crash of a gong

flames
lick the horizon
consuming all the stars
the moon is
burned in
effigy
no more venus
no more
mars

ash falls down
like snowflakes
cinders fall
like hail
comets
stream the
atmosphere
with hell
fast on
their
tail

crimson
light comes
from the east
but all sight
is gone
yes
the
sky
is

RED

and it
isn't even

DAWN

So
tired
I should
try to sleep
the madness
away•I know it
won't but at least
I'd be well rested
enough to tackle
yet another
day

The knife in my side,
The blood on my hands,
The hole in my mind,
The loss I can't stand.

I follow the fear,
Towards a new start,
As more cracks appear,
In my blackened heart.

A pathway of pain,
It leads me onwards,
I don't care if I'm broken inside,

But what if I can't,
Pick up all the pieces,
Of those I've hurt and those who've died?

I try to escape,
The depths of my heart,
Riddled with holes from Anger's cold spear.

What if I caused,
More hate than I feel?
What if there's no way back from here?

There's no way back,
And to those I've hurt,
I'm sorry,
Don't forgive me.
He lies awake,
Unfeeling, yet hurting,
Unseeing, but staring into the nothingness that surrounds him.
He remembers his mistakes,
He remembers his regrets,
And asks the dark to remain.

He lies awake,
Free and safe,
A smile on his lips, beaming through the nothingness around him.
He remembers his success,
He forgets what others said,
And forces the dark away.

He lies awake,
Trembling, but still,
Afraid, but reaching for the nothingness that’s bound him.
He awaits his demise,
He relives his loss,
And pleads the dark to let him stay.

He lies awake,
Relieved, but untrusting,
Abandoned by the nothingness that found him.
He remembers his mistakes,
He remembers his regrets,
And asks the dark for one last dance.
Impeding the loving flow of the Holy Spirit,
can cause your peace to be accidentally lost;
without the proper atmosphere in your life,
is there success when picking up your cross?

With the Spirit’s sensitivity, He knows
the inner workings of your motivations;
do you believe that a show of gratitude
will masquerade any sin-based deceptions?

We need to create and maintain each day
a spiritually-conducive ambiance for Him;
one that is naturally peaceful and loving,
whereby your soul is stirred with new hymns.

Are you sincerely allowing the Holy Spirit
to divinely set your underlying heart-tone
for each and every aspect of your lifestyle,
whether it’s: at work, play or rest at home?

Having a genuine fellowship with Him insures
that you’re not living life as an emergency;
yet His manifest presence helps you to live…
victoriously with a sense of sacred urgency.

Remember that you’ve been secured by Christ
for the approaching day of final redemption,
which is deliverance from sin’s consequences
(from accepting His holy gift of Salvation).

Where can you hope or expect to really go,
when carnal actions are limiting His flow?

W. H. Auden
Now through night's caressing grip
Earth and all her oceans slip,
Capes of China slide away
From her fingers into day
And th'Americas incline
Coasts towards her shadow line.

Now the ragged vagrants creep
Into crooked holes to sleep:
Just and unjust, worst and best,
Change their places as they rest:
Awkward lovers like in fields
Where disdainful beauty yields:

While the splendid and the proud
Naked stand before the crowd
And the losing gambler gains
And the beggar entertains:
May sleep's healing power extend
Through these hours to our friend.
Unpursued by hostile force,
Traction engine, bull or horse
Or revolting succubus;
Calmly till the morning break
Let him lie, then gently wake.

Follow the trail through a Forest green,
Whisper my name to the Wind unseen-
Walking along till you find your Dream,
Remember:
Im right where Ive always been

Watch as the waves of the Ocean Blue,
Carries away all your troubles
To
A Paradise where I"ll be waiting for
You-
Remember:
Love will always be True

So close Your eyes,
A Heart broken by Lies-
Promises made truely never dies.
And Keep your Heart,
With Truth as its guard-
Remember:

At the End begins a brand New Start...

Place a Prayer upon a Star
High,
Lit by the moon in a dark
Sky-
The answer will come like a
Lullaby,
Remember:
Hope will get you by.

Search Your Heart when you cant
Find,
Answers unknown by your own
Mind-
Faith slowly grows only with
Time,
Remember:
You will always be mine

So open your Soul,
For sadness must still go-
Believe that Love will always hold.
And Keep your Heart,
With Truth as its guard-
Remember:

At the End begins a brand New Start,
Yes
At the End begins A brand new Start.

when I looked at you
I felt alone
I felt needy

I felt sick

and I'll look to you
to make the rain
come back
& sun go away

I'd trace your body
on cold sheets
study the contours
every unique
spastic movement

but that would take
me opening my mouth

true terror lies in
vulnerability

wish me luck,
I shiver at the thought alone
