Every action starts something in motion
As does every spoken word
It doesn't matter the action
And it doesn't matter if it's heard

A simple movement moves a mountain
Sending snow cascading down
A simple spark might start a fire
That can create ash of a whole town

Throw a pebble in the water
Make a ripple, start a wave
The end result is always greater
Than the effort that you gave
A finger ripple in the bathtub
Sends a wave from end to end
A simple change in wind in motion
Can take a bridge and make it bend

Remember every action causes something
To react in answer to the cause
The end result might go unnoticed
The end result might be a loss

A simple phrase might make a nation
Go to war where thousands die
You can change the way things happen
A little thought, if you just try

Throw a pebble in the water
Make a ripple, start a wave
The end result is always greater
Than the effort that you gave
A finger ripple in the bathtub
Sends a wave from end to end
A simple change in wind in motion
Can take a bridge and make it bend

The world is constantly in motion
words are used and things are done
But regardless of these actions
We'll still continue 'round the sun

An object resting will stay resting
But will react to a force
It only takes a finger ripple
Or a pebble thrown to change the course

Throw a pebble in the water
Make a ripple, start a wave
The end result is always greater
Than the effort that you gave
A finger ripple in the bathtub
Sends a wave from end to end
A simple change in wind in motion
Can take a bridge and make it bend.

I'm not one for superstitions
Generally things are going good
I don't believe in charms or trinkets
You must believe me, knock on wood

Spill some salt, throw over shoulder
Never do that one at all
You have to watch just where you toss it
If you're eating at the mall

You get bad luck for breaking mirrors
The curse has seven years of life
But, marry wrong...it lasts forever
Would you trade your mirror for your wife?

Good luck comes from certain idols
Rabbits feet and lucky charms
If that's true I have one question
Are there three footed rabbit farms?

Voodoo dolls they have bad juju
Zombies coming from the dead
I know I am not superstitious
But, I have garlic round my bed

Black cats and a leaning ladder
bad luck say the witches queen
But if bad luck is all around us
Why do people like 13?

Tea leaf reading and the tarot
Horoscopes and chicken bones
I think that they are just full of blarney
I don't believe but, I'll kiss the stone.

So who will be your lover now?
I’m out, I smile and take a bow

No one to be there
For you no more
Cry your eyes out baby
Cause I'm gone

Now you apologize
You must think I'm dumb enough to believe you

You lied
Right to my face
I never want you again
So goodbye

So this is it no good bye kiss
No so long hug or one last ****
You cheater
Heart break *****
That’s it
Just my luck
All it took
Two seconds
Enough in my book
Walk out the door
No more
This is bitter sweet
Now you've lost me
Yeah yeah you will see

You tore my life to pieces
So now I'm finally out and
Living it up
Don’t care what your doing
I don’t need you

Now looking back on us
We really should have seen this
All the problems ah forget em
They've drown to the inner sanctum
Dow, down
But I do recall
You were just so ******* selfish

I couldn't take it
But I gave in
Dumb-***
That I was to let
You continue
Even took my trust
And ripped it to bits
Then just left
But it's for the best
Now I'm finally free and
I can do what I want

You tore my life to pieces
So now I'm finally out and
Living it up
Don’t care what your doing
I don’t need you

Now I let go
So this is it no good bye kiss
No so long hug or one last ****
You cheater
Heart break *****
That’s it
Just my luck
All it took
Two seconds
Enough in my book
Walk out the door
No more
This is bitter sweet
Now you've lost me
Yeah yeah you will see

You tore my life to pieces
So now I'm finally out and
Living it up
Don’t care what your doing
I don’t need you

The moon shines a cool blue tonight
as we entwine our fingers, laying on the baseball field
beneath diamond heavens. We lie
in silence, in the moments when the Universe reveals
itself, and contemplate the distances between one celestial body to
another, the space between
us growing as I turn south
to find Orion while you seek Cassiopeia in the north.

Shooting stars cross the sky, and we wish separately on dead
stars and dead dreams, lights already grown red and extinguished
as we whisper in the dark, passing
between phases.

And in the end we're all left searching.

Burgundy tassels sway in June water
Resting among chartreuse vegetation.
Ebbing with the current, a crustacean
Advances to pinch tanned toes. My daughter
Thinks nothing of it as she contently
Hovers among the playful fish kissing
Each passion-fruit patch of sundress, baring
Delicate flesh beneath.  She was lovely

And mine. Seven years have passed, yet her voice
Resonates in my memories, enshrined.
“Let’s go swimming, Daddy.” Love as my vice,
I gave in. The ocean, blue as star-lined
Nights, beckoned her closer, starfish snuggly
Grabbed her, an infinite bride of the sea.

A lonely boy
Out on his own
Making up stories
New tales shall be told
Trapped in a fable
That you did write
And you’ll never see
Because you’ll never be
Alive
You’re dying

Oh lonely boy
Forget the ink
Erase the pencil
And live for today
Trapped in a myth
That you did write

Lonely boy
Why'd you pick this day?
At their expense
To die in misery
The fiction of your life
That you did write

I do believe my days withing these
Concrete ashram walls are
Coming to an end.

It might be a slow ending, but
It'll be a good one.
It began the day I saw the

Beautiful truth behind the ugly
Mask of everyday insignificance.
Beauty and meaning;

Soft hand in a mild one.
Water strength.
Cement frailty.

Thoughts are like air; find their
Way from A to another
A.

Looking at my friend fitting
A door, cursing at the promise of
Adjustments,

Or enjoying the way the Project Manager
Leaves us never knowing whether
He's joking or not with a face

As cold as his project's foundations.
I fall in love with Life every day.
Even when I hate it.

I've learned that I never stop learning.
I'll be a slightly different man tomorrow,
Yet still myself.

Always still myself.
There is wisdom in flexibility; the
Holding on to nothing,

Even ones definition of oneself.
I was a construction worker.
Now, I'm a

Construction worker.
I take comfort in the fact
That the only comfort I'll

Ever really need, is the
One I give
Myself.

Anything doesn't Come
Today all known roads are blank
All have gone away
Have devoured into
An expanding vast spaces

Beside the Southern window
Sun doesn't laugh anymore
Even you haven't sung no more
As the lonely pied crested Cuckoo

Yet, what makes hope of the birds
When they flying away in the sky,
What prompts this metaphor
Don't understand the pen
Don't know the mind
Not hear the time

When getting out of the lost in the dark
As if there is no space
Between known and unknown
Coal is the same as diamonds
But how beautiful thee songs are!
Spreading light in the darkness

Fascinating with its Form
Wondering to touch
To Catch in the dark
Unclogging the thousands wings of imagination
Bringing a bed of roses
Have laid on the grass
Passing the time to gossip
With the hidden Stars
Under the open Sky

At the end of a thousand
Miles away
Whose face popped
Don't Speak
Don't Laugh
How pensive the faded Classic face!

I'm not sorry I loved you,
I'm sorry I didn't leave you when I had the chance.

You are vile, cruel to women and callous,
This is not my country...this is not my home.

Your men fight battles over themselves
Cowards who wag tails for authority
and are not ashamed to beat up the weak
This is not my country...this is not my home

You who have silenced so many
On the topic of ****, ****** harassment and other crimes

You who have given me no choice as a woman
but to cleave my way through your vile judgments

Your insolence is all I can see, and I don't wish to return

I don't wish to be loyal to one who cannot hold any respect

For me or my fellow women

this is not my country.

this is not my home.

I took a walk with my love,
From Bray to Greystones.
Sharing smiles as we talked
Under a rainbow.

And the clouds rolled in
And the wind sprinkled rain,
Our path was etched in stone,
Along Erin's coast.

I took a walk with my love,
From Bray to Greystones.
Time unwent as we strolled
And dreamed of nowhere.

And the clouds rolled in
And the wind sprinkled rain,
Wild rushes and reeds so tall
They sheltered our way,
We moved through the day,

And suddenly,
We were two seabirds gently flying
And our souls
Were laid to rest, on the breath of heaven.

We devoted our lives,
Felt as one our spirits rising toward the sun,
Peacefully, so peacefully
And the Earth,
We felt her deep,
Undersong.

I took a walk with my love,
From Bray to Greystones.
Sharing smiles as we talked
And dreamed of nowhere.
We dreamed of nowhere.
