The laughter of leaves
whisper testament
over cool caverns,
ancient moss
the absurdity of clocks
dashed upon rocks
while they dance,
backlit with sunglow,
at the true speed
of life
daring us to defy
the timeless tapestry
in which all are woven
Do stones large and small
not rustle
like leaves
in the eye of the mountain?
and is the leaf not as solid
as stone, to the aphid?
And what lives between
two lover-friends?
It is no brief candle
measured with ticks
on numbered dials
It moves not with the flash
of a single spark
Nor with the slow glow
of dawn
In gentle illumination
it is a soft gentle kiss
drifting on mist,
and it moves
at the speed of love,
with the rhythm of life

I'd like to tell you a story
It begins in 1492
When dear old Christopher Columbus
Sailed the ocean blue

He landed on what he thought
To be the country of India
He stumbled upon a group of people
Who appeared to be indigenous

Because these native people
Happened to be where he thought he was
He called them all "Indians"
&& somehow that name stuck

They welcomed his group with open arms
Even offered them their feast
Unaware that deep inside
They were but wolves, dressed as sheep

Columbus && his crew
Soon ravaged the land
They took what they saw
Then they took full command

Of the people they found
On the land where they landed
They felt they should rule
So they stepped in, heavy handed

They murdered the people
Who had taken them in
Set fire to their villages
While the victims watched with their kin

Flash forward to the future
It's now 2016
It's been over 500 years
Since the overtaking by the regime

Future settlers decided
To let the survivors live on
They designated them small areas
Of what had not yet been robbed

These Native Americans,
Generally keep to themselves
They get by living off their land
But now they need your help

The Sioux of Standing Rock
Are being horribly mistreated
The state of North Dakota
Is poisoning them without reason

A pipeline has been built
That runs through this Native territory
When Bismarck residents didn't want it
It was rerouted, how discriminatory

People from all over the country
Are seeming to agree
They are making the commute
To protest peacefully

In defense of an oppressed people
Who only want to live
But the government is stepping in
Even blowing off some limbs

"Let them die, they're not like us"
the message the administration is sending
It seems that after all this time
The battle is never-ending

What exactly does it take
For people to see eye-to-eye?
In the end we're all just human
We kiss, we laugh, we cry

So if you have a heart at all
If you know that this is wrong
Please join the Sioux in their mission
By coming together, we can be strong
You don't have to be out there protesting to help. You can still make a difference by making a monetary donation to help build with Standing Rock. You can read more about it on the go fund me page listed here. Every bit helps.

They said, there are 12 stages of falling in love;

The 1st stage, initial attraction – recognizing that, for whatever reason, you'd potentially like to be with this person.

The 2nd stage, investigation – finding out more about the person to evaluate whether they'd be right for you.

The 3rd stage, friendship – establishing friendly relations with the person in hopes of getting to know them better.

The 4th stage, envy – wishing that it was you that was spending more time with the person.

The 5th stage, embarrassment – being flustered around the person, trying to avoid them because you know they make you nervous.

The 6th stage, bravery – owning up to the fact that you are falling deeper and deeper for the person at hand.

The 7th stage, lust – becoming even more physically attracted to the person in the hopes of getting them in bed.

The 8th stage, hope – being convinced that there is a chance for you and waiting for the right time to take a shot.

The 9th stage, confession – admitting to the person that you have fallen completely head-over-heels for them.

The 10th stage, comfort – falling completely at ease with the person ; being able to tell them anything/do anything with them.

The 11th stage, planning – looking ahead to the future with the person.

The 12th stage, bliss – complete, utter and total happiness shared by the both of you.

Was it ever so true? That we can define love after we feel an internal affection, or a sudden burst of happiness every time we see that person, or feeling like we couldn't live without the person. Was it love? Tell me, what's even love? Does it happens from the chemistrical feeling that occurs to the body of both men and women? Or does it happens spontaneously without a reason? As if it were just like that? Tell me is love a lie that mankind made up or truly, a holy divine feeling that God created?
