I'm having tea with Life,
And his band of Disappointments.
They dine at my expense,
And they're a hungry bunch of guests.

Tea turned into Supper,
Where the Disappointments drank
My finest wine,
And Life wiped his cruel mouth
On my tablecloth.

You can't have supper without dessert,
So they ate up more of my
Food for thought.
And if you stay for dessert,
You may as well spend the night.
So they did
And burgled my pantry of hopes
For a midnight snack.

One night was lovely,
So Life cackled, "Why not stay two?"
And two turned to a week,
And a week turned into
My sickeningly merry guests
Moving into my dreams,
And inviting in Doubt,
To live with them too,
And of course
Pay no rent.

So I watch my chaotic household
Of a skull,
Where Life has made himself at home
And brought all of his friends.
I stare dully at my ruined
Dining room of thought,
Which they have dominated.
And look wearily for a spare idea
In my raided cupboards.

I've never been one
To evict friends,
So I suppose they're here to stay.
But learn a lesson from me,
And don't ever
Have Life over for tea.

Summer morning.
Recrossing the borderline from the afterlife,
the dreamer is expelled from sleep, the dream lost.
I am a dream’s shadow,
heavy with transition, jagged from sleep.
Light gathers me from every room I have ever slept in
onto the shrinking island of the bed.

Someone cues the poetry. Unquiet lines.
The past was worse than you thought,
voices say.  Your life is a weighted skin.
Stop swimming against the tide of loss.
Sink.

Yet gloom is porous.
From the sky’s cracked mosaic,
Daybreak seeps in.
The light reassembles familiar objects,
which replace mere longing in ordinary darkness.

The things of the world resist but return
to radiance, resume the work of existing.
We are all day laborers.
It's my shift. Summon the coffee.
The world yawns before me.
And I am, therefore (I think).

Love the wife of Loyalty stands with her husband's arms wrapped around her and her arms wrapped around him in an warming embrace.  Loyalty looked into the eyes of Love and said
"My beautiful, beautiful, wife you filled my
heart with joy by becoming my wife.  My world revolves around you.  I will always be there for you.  I will stand by your side and help you chase after your dreams.  I will protect you from all threats."
Love gave Loyalty a squeeze and said
"I too will stand by your side and help you chase your dreams.  I will be there for you in your time of need or when ever you just want me by your side."
Love and Loyalty looked into each other's eyes and began to kiss.

Thank you..

The seating orientation was a bit strange.  We wanted to see what all the fuss was about.. We sat in a circular pattern next to these strange looking candle holders.  They looked a bit to gothic for my taste.  The candles seem to be all different colors of wax.   We paid 200$ for one song.  I don't think its worth it.  But everyone says it is..  The house was completly sold out. There was not one seat empty..

The lights begin to dim away. Darkness fills the entire room.. Its then we begin to hear the most beautiful acoustic guitar music I have ever heard..  As the music played on I could see a small glow of light beside us.. The candles were coming to life.. Each flame was a differnet color.  Ours was a beautiful blue.  The longer they played the brighter the candles got.. There were two of them playing.  Never did they look up at us. They played with their heads looking down at the floor.   It now looked like and aura of colors within the theater.  The song begin to slow down and the candles got dimmer and dimmer..  The song then begin to slightly speed up.  The ceiling was now filled with stars and endless falling comets..  I was now lost in the music..

The sun begin to rise, A new day was being born..  The song had ended.. The applause was thunderous! The night song of the two.. Magnifcient it was...
They made the stars fall..

You're still there,
At the end of my fingertips,
Your taste is still there teasing my tongue,
Your sweet face,
Haunts all my dreams,
Your beautiful heart still has its strings,
Wrapped around mine,
Tell me how to let you go,
When everything about you,
Is still living in my chest,
Crawling through the tunnels of my mind,
And leaving soft but painful bruises, on my soul
Some women leave a mark on you that you can never erase, Her scent, her smile, her tears when she cries. I am scarred in the most beautiful Way. Move on they say. I say, I won't give up without a fight.

Tequila
Tears
And art
Passion flowers
ignite
Fierce surrender
Holding on tight
Taking hold of the darkening night
Turning Twisting
On a friend's vacant bed
Igniting
Finding
Kalidiscope colors
Exploding into sound

Peaceful sleep
Entangled in arms sweet embrace

Memorable nights
in life
in memory
are played out
more than twice

Revisited
from time to time
through out one's life.

Her kiss

is my sunrise aglow the horizon,
apricot shimmering hue
Rose petal satin,
the sweet taste of nectar,
soft as the fresh morning dew

The warmth on my skin
while the hours are passing,
soothing each beat of my heart
Comforting me
as the long day is ending,
now as the sun does depart

Cool evening breezes
a’ whisper the branches,
signaling twilight is soon
Twinkling stars
shining bright in the heavens,
fueled by the light of the moon

My perfect dream
as I fall off to slumber,
closing my eyes for the night
Keeping me safe
beneath evening skies glowing,
holding me ever so tight

Every day
of my life I am living,
is filled with a wonderful bliss
Enchanted moments,
now and forever,
because of the love in

her kiss
I have never felt anything as wonderful as her kiss.
