Devour the black the absence of light ,
feast on writhing victims veins,
blood is so energizing, to live upon blue
red, the darkest visions
viciously vivid,  melts
me
I become the void,
devoid of feeling
I look into her eyes,
enjoy her tries
to break free
and run
I pursue, no one sees..
I look in the mirror and see,
nothing but dark.

~

Silence, on waves of our tide motioned heartbeats,
cascading rhythms, a smooth metronome
Keeping this time inside blue water passions,
beneath the surface, the feelings we’ve grown

Hidden so deep in the swells of affection,
swimming the shores of a long summer’s night
Building a fortress of seashell laced castles,
sand dollar curtains to fend off the light

Running for cover as sunrise now beckons,
placing our smiles where the seas can not gaze
Whispering secrets of coast line devotion,
harboring dreams till the end of our days

Lighthouse lit beacons now search as a witness,
beaches a’ shimmer of moon glow above
Hoisting our anchor, we share the horizons,
*sailing these oceans, professing our love

Deathlike is our love.
Tired, expired, stagnant and numb.
I'm through playing dumb, treated like hired help.
When we met my pulse it fired, now like death it has expired.
We lie in bed side by side like corpses in a morgue,
inanimate, undesired, tired.

I'm sorry if this hurts but love it can expire, lose its fire and it's flame.
I wish that I could say we're both to blame, but you my love you sired elsewhere, and expected me to understand that you were desired by another and now I'm expected to play the role of second mother to a child,
innocent though he is of his father's shared night of tireless passion with another!

And so it fell to me to prepare this fine repast, forget about the past,
look toward the food cupboard and make a dinner of herbs.
A pinch of hemlock, a touch of aconite, a soupçon of strychnine and a
drop of arsenic. All prepared by mine own fair hand, it's bitterness shone in my tears, as you praised my cooking and my fidelity to you, begged my forgiveness and took me to bed.

Now, cold you lie.
Forgiveness I could give, it was the forgetting that did both you and me in. Like Romeo to his Juliet, a moth to a flame, a drop of wolfs bane,
your Belladonna has had her final fling
Better is a dinner of herbs where love is, than a stalled ox and hatred therewith.

Why do we feign such rapturous delight,
in pretence to others that all is alright,
what if the soul is quietly suppressed,
cloaked in darkness, hidden and repressed,

Are we ashamed to drape the veil,
to retreat into darkness and embrace the pale,
truth can be found from deep in a frown,
so why wear the clothes and tears of a clown.

Awesome Annie
I wish to be a cloud.

I could linger in between.
Present but not fully here.

I'd allow the wind to take me along the endless sky.
Never losing possibilities or places.

I wash my hands of regret and responsibility.
I'll bask in freedom and forgot about pain.

To be visible, yet never close enough to touch.
Always searching for what lies beyond my reach.

At this moment I'd give anything to be a cloud,
To dissolve into the unknown and become so beautiful.

tripped on the up game,
out on a whim.

The photojournalist came back after camping
alone out there in the woods
taking pictures with her camera;
loved the nature, the trees
the lakes, and stillness of the nights;
freezing outside
but surprisingly warm in her sleep
in her tough-zipped tent

she collected the photographs
two days after;
*and there were pictures of her
sleeping various nights in her tent
with extra limbs sprawled over her

Think
Of
You

This is actually about no person in particular, just some little thing I thought up, but....  If you think this poem is about you, then it probably should be.
Have A Great Day!
We're you* careful with what you wished for?
No,  you weren't.
Did you call out for help when you needed it?
If you did, no one heard.
We're you there for me when I was falling down?
I didn't see you there.
Did you lay a pillow on the floor when I fell for you, so it wouldn't hurt?
No, cause you didn't care.
We're you thinking about me when you walked out the door?
If you did, you would've stayed.
Did you look back even once to see me crying all alone?
No, you were too afraid.
We're you ashamed of yourself for never telling me why?
If you were, I didn't know.
Did you ever wonder what's happened to me now?
Well, I finally got the chance to grow.

Thank you for all the things you didn't do,
Never forget The Girl Who Loved You.

Cosplay Human

the art or practice of wearing costumes to portray characters from fiction, especially from manga, animation, and science fiction; a skit featuring these costumed characters
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
this cosplay of human we so oft effect,
movie projection of shaped variations,
semi-firm but mostly pliant,
bone not-so-hard-as-we-believe,
draped in skins of tissue pre-perforated,
we are forms that can last a century,
yet shrivel back to fetus in days,
for lack of simple water...
think human and know simultaneous,
billions of earth persona and
billions of cells in each
by  for  of -
the people,
each masked, each outfitted
in uniforms of differentiating gaps
more alike, all unique,
masses of differences of constructs same,
this cosplay is a preeminent miracle...
all of us
nakedly similar,
all naturally defiant of time,
all defeated by time, naturally...
this skit we play routinely,
costumed in a manner similar,
yet different, to distinguish ourselves,
and mark as group members
pretending to
vive la différence!
what import all this, pretty words
that tell us what we know instinctively?
just this...
I see you
perhaps you see me
changing my costume
not by choice,
still do not wear a
masque
my cells my words,
no cosplay,
my humanity on parade,
my file open to inspection
dare you visit the beginning,
when passion drove me,
the early version,
when I was not circumspect,
and my poems
were passion plays,
verifiable truths
and cosplay was not
part of my vocabulary
If I seem a little shaky,
it’s just my nervous twitch,
but I'm starting to see double,
double the trouble,
crawling on my knees,
Trying to find my keys,
Tearing up the carpet,
Chewing it with my teeth,
Laughing hysterically at nothing at all,
hitting my head against the nearest wall,
continuously *******,
I just can’t contain myself at all,
Sitting in the bath fully clothed,
******* over the bathroom floor,
burning my arm with a lighted match,
trying to eat my nicotine patch,
I'm loaded up with pills,
expecting some big thrills,
but I'm left rocking in my chair,
Its just my ******* breakdown, yeah.
Today was no ballet,
sure, people say "no picnic"
but, I prefer "no ballet".
After all why compare a day to a picnic?
Picnics are, well, middling.
Some outstanding (with champagne)
Some poor, with floppy cheese sandwiches.
Some, just sitting in a field with a damp ****.
So, today was no ballet.
I didn't shout "hooray"
I didn't wear fancy lingerie
I didn't eat at an avant-garde cafe
I didn't write a masterpiece,
an overture or paint a masterful stroke.
So, all in all, today was passé,
definitely no ballet.
