burning rain forests
wild animals with shrinking space to live
growing air pollution
smog in major cities
more than 3,5 million deaths
     due to respiratory diseases
global warming
new insects and other beasties
    in the formerly cooler regions
extreme hurricanes  rainstorms  heatwaves
excessive use of fertilizers by agro-industries
bees are dying
blossoms are left unpollinated
biodiversity is in a flat spin
deserts keep growing globally
fossile fuels are still polluting the air
curious dolphins die in the water of the Thames

after so far hundreds of thousands died of Covid-19
it is high time to see the larger picture
to comprehend interactive phenomena

the pandemic brought earth a little recovery time
the waters have cleared
you can actually see fish in the canals of Venice
satellite pictures show clear air over metropolises

suggesting: the new normality after the pandemic
must be significantly different from the old one

do we really need hundreds of thousands to die?
does it need a virus for us to understand

that we need a different relationship to nature?!!

Tin cups
rattle steel bars
no birds
no bees
no sounds of cars
on open freeway
far and wide
chains and manacles
stuck inside
a makeshift shiv
of broken picture frame
wrapped in leather
oiled in soap
each passing day
diminishes hope
until I can't
take anymore
I carve each day
on my front door
Cabin fever is starting to drive me nuts.  I only get to leave the house to do response work so it's either cooped up or terrified.  What a great year 2020 is shaping up to be.

One day
some day
soon
all of this
will
and
is about to
come to an end

Let it

Until then live every moment
and love today

In prison
when you have no
money, and you can't
buy commissary, and
the hours and the days drag by
like a tortoise searching
a garden.
It's the little things that
make the time bearable.
Someone gives you a package of
noodles or a cup of coffee,
or a bar of good soap.
Kindness in hell goes a long way.
It's the simple pleasures that
I took for granted
that I relish now:
Steaming hot water,
a bed with a real mattress,
and a library with thousands
of books to read.
I have writing paper,
ink pens, and reading glasses to
see with; it could be worse.

Dark n Beautiful
Death came too soon:
To be precise every single day persay
it ended or did it not?
To all who knew them: we felt the pain?
But what lead up to this madness is: a crying shame
Your life is worth living
our heart bled for our love one
Right up to they last dying breath:

It ***** to keep a secret,
Jealousy is a disease, fear is mind killer
a killer is on the loose. Corvid 19

Two deaths, two stories
Double sins, double tragedy
But, oh, the feeling corona is leaving behind
The questions, no answers, so little time to reflect

Humanity is sickened by one horrific headline after another
I wondered who is going to be next:
I trust my life to an earthquake more than Politics

Raged like rough sea, against the salty rocks,
Holding on like sea ***** never letting go,
the thing call corona ..

1 Corinthians 15:54, 55:
“Death is swallowed up in victory.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?”

To the one they left behind,
To the one who weep at the open graves,
To the one who silently stood by?
And to ALL of us on the frontlines

To the ones who knew of this deadly disease
And stay silent: isolation is also a killer;
To the ones who grieves and respond to loss

A mother who loss her daughter:,
a husband, who lost his wife..
so many cadavers , so many untold stories..

the crucial role we have to play daily..
This war time dynamic:

We all strive
To be our best version
Of a perfect self

We all want
The perfect body
The perfect things
The perfect poems

But the funny
Thing is

It’s always
The quirk
The flaw
And
The ingenuity
That always stands out
