Elephants trampling the young corn
With clouds as indifferent bystanders
My tears soaking new growth
That will never reach maturity
While the Universe watches

A double rainbow born of tears
Fades into the mountain
Leaving a vacuum of hopelessness
Over a sea of forgotten promises
While the Universe watches

Rose bushes ****** the children
With thorns made of recycled war heads
And laments float precariously
On anger filled dead rivers
While the Universe watches

Prayers are lost in icy snowstorms
Hope is nestling with long dead dinosaurs
Happiness morphing into empty darkness
With love pulled like **** from the ground
The Universe had finally turned away

This life seems like an illusion
There are more problems
Then solution
The dreams that we get
Comes mostly after the sunset
Yet none comes true, I bet
Laying awake at nights
In my head woven is so tight
Many unanswered questions that flash like lights
My heart is such a kind
That it won't listen to my mind
We are a rare piece, not easy to find
Each day becomes shorter than the other
Each night seems longer than another
Each year runs on faster
Mind settles on seeing reality
Every relationship lacks that quality
Not everyone possesses the right ability
Unaware of others situation
We tend to rule out our own conclusion
That's when we fall in the web of illusion
So focus on yourself and the people you love
Rather than a judge or a critic sitting above
Come down and spread the peace like a dove...

His "I love you" came swiftly.
Like the monsoon pouring down on a leaky roof
Those three words broke through my defences.
At first they were an ambrosia;
They sustained my life and our relationship.
At least for a short time.

Then "I love you" became an excuse;
For absences, and purpose-filled accidents.
And I ignored the warning signs, the flashing lights.
I pretended like "I love you" was enough...

...But it wasn't.
His "I love you"s were like band-aids on bullet wounds;
Like using play dough to fix cracks in concrete walls.
But I rationed our good memories,
I held on as tight as I could to our love
And watched as it slipped through my fingers.

His "I love you"s became poison,
That seeped deep into my bones,
And turned blue skies grey,
And turned light into darkness,
And slowly killed whatever semblance of love
I fooled myself into thinking we had left.

Use your heart less,
But don't be heartless!

Use your mind more,
But don't mind more!

I think it's time for a conversation
about human beings an our imagination
Great inventors like in past days are rare
and it seems that society just doesn't care

So just what happened to free innovation
it's now controlled like a railway station
Some great ideas aren't being inspected
well inventors of hoovers are getting respected

If they can't control it they make it stall
as mankind's inventions could free us all
Letting them do it will be all our regret
Man made are we and we shouldn't forget!
