don’t let them tell you your eyes are ordinary.
darling,
they are anything but.
your eyes are honey as it blends with liquid copper,
hardening when you feel the pain of the world
but melting when you look at him.
they are the smell of the earth right before a thunderstorm,
hard packed soil and dusty fingerprints.
they are mahogany oak
as the lightning cracks a tree in half
and the rings are exposed for the world to see.
those orbs are the sleek finish on a violin,
its chords slicing through empty air with notes brimming with emotion,
emotions that’s reflected in your eyes.
it’s all reflected in your eyes
so don’t you dare let them tell you
your eyes are ordinary.
they are anything but.

I love my morning coffee,
It is hot and strong,
Like a firm handshake or a warm hug first thing in the morning,
It gives me the masculine strength to start the day and venture into the life of a parent raising a son.

The aroma is familiar and friendly,
One that takes me back to my days at university – the first round I mean.
When time was flexible, and it was ok to live on porridge and rice for five days, and then smoked salmon and cadbury’s chocolate on when I got paid, because there was always someone to buy the next beer.
In that four bedroom shared house, with guests every night, I drank my coffee black, because the milk was always out. Come to think of it, the toilet paper was often out too… so I kept a secret stash.

These days, I add a dollop of thick cream to my coffee in the morning for richness and indulgence,
It whisks me off to a place of my dreams – Pari
Where I imagine myself in flowing skirts, and bright red lipstick
As I laugh loudly to jokes spoken in beautiful **** French by tall handsome men,
Here I can speak French, laugh in French, make love in French and I am honoured as the beautiful Aussie goddess I am.

I’m not sure where said 8 year old is whilst I am in France … I guess he is there riding his bike with the locals and whatever 8 year olds do… but he is not sipping my coffee.

I drink my morning coffee from a great big mug with painted dragon flys on it,
The dragon flys reminds me, everyday is new beginnings,
A chance to transform what was before,
To sore high and far,
And that nothing is ever stuck in one place.

As I towards the end of my cup,
I swirl the coffee and the cream back together,
The temperature has dropped,
The taste is not as strong,
But the impact on my day is for ever, as I return to my place and my life to hear the words ‘mum, what’s for breakfast’.

I love my morning coffee.

i love you with
all of my darkness
and all of my light
like a midnight flower
blossoming,

hinged like a door
i battle to reach you

i know only of our love,
i'm a blue mood and
a strange sea, weeping
in winter's silver frost,

your fiery legs
leave me longing
like a jealous cloud
longs to dream of
the night and hold
it as its own,

i'm crazy about your
legs, crazy, crazy,
crazy about your love,

and i melt as you kiss me
crazy jealous of your love.

Oh how to
To think that my body once capture your attention
From the top to the bottom of my physique:

To think that our minds didn’t care what our brains thought,
When we said I do: knowingly we did not:
And when we went ahead and tied those awful knots: such crackpots
Regrets we had a lot! But then again who doesn’t,
Marriage is like wall papering.. Choose your spouse carefully
Else that fumes will lingered and lingered forever:
My lover!
How we made each other unhappy
How we fought like the bull and matador
In and out of the ring:
I won!
You were dragged off to the slaughter house:
Since marriage to you were twenty- eighty: I knew better:
Too painful were the memories, but how sweet was the revenge

We use to say young and old alike, aging and living together;
Alone but never lonely: not I/ not with my narrative poetry:
Arthritis and constant back pain: hair coloring and
Wavy weave: one with myself and loving me to death.

Too think that my body once captures your attention
from the top to the bottom of my physique:

What can I say she liked it hot,
she called it her pepper of lust...
         Every so often
             she swallowed the seeds.
I've never known anyone sweat
           so much without chewing.

What can I say she was a woman
of adventure, never turning away
from he heat of the moment..
    She drank milk
                      to cool herself down.
I've never known a woman to
swallow so much, drinking from
the source asking for more...

"You can only milk for so long..

Time had passed,
and she needed to take this
              Jalo-***** deep,
to feel the heat within herself.
She was never shy of her skills,
              taking the seeds deeply within.

Well she had tasted it, sweated when
it lingered for a time within....
But after a time peppers wilt,
not of there own accord, but over use.
She was a woman of fiery lust...
But never fear, there is always tomorrow,
             My seeds grow fast..
She'll get her sweaty fill,
                   she'll just have to wait,
letting these hot seeds grow once more.

I know what you’re thinking
And you’re right
That thing that vibrates
Bringing complete delight

There's different sizes
Awesome colors too
Instead of a man
AA batteries will do

Anytime you want or
Any time you ask
A ***** will provide you
With completing the task

You can shut it off
Put it in a drawer
Try doing that with a man
Just another option to explore...
Can’t help sometimes just being in the mood.

Under my fleece blanket
Conventions scorned
I’m naked.

Yes, surprise!
My organs are contained in skin
Contours, grooves; holes in.

*****, ****, eyebrow, *******
You will have to imagine all the rest
As you, too, undress

We really are silly creatures
Dressed in frilly fabric features
Mine is this, yours is that.

Truth be told
Body bold
Is sacred.
